Quantic Dream's new 3D Engine

Quantic Dream, creator of the Heavy Rain hit released a technical demo featuring the capabilities of their new engine.



A rather interresting video. Now I totally want them to make a game out of Kara.

Man this is one interesting background if they wanted to make for game lol. One robot that's the A.I is "malfunction" which ended up allowing "her" to act outside the protocol.

While the setting is not new, it is still as interesting as it can be ^^.

I'm actually looking forward to Kara if it we're a game.

Interesting. Will probably have a story like iRobot.

I like the short narrative more than the eye-candy, mouthwatering video.

What kinda game would it be? I can't think of a genre it could fit in.

Heavy Rain genre?

I wonder what kind of game it would be if this was a game.

The graphics are quite pretty. The story makes me want to see more. Preferably a VN, if that's a genre, because I lose interest in the story when there are button's to press/things to kill/things to upgrade.

Wow this could be the most fun RPG ever... Kara could make up for all the terrible games lately if it were made~

Have you guys never heard of Heavy Rain? I mean, I know it's a PS3 exclusive but still...

Coming from Quantic Dreams, that's how they'd make a game out of "Kara".

Too bad, but from what I've heard, "Kara" isn't supposed to be a game. Instead, it's a stepping stone to the game they want to make next. I believe with "Kara", not only were they showing off their new engine, but also trying to evoke some sort of reaction through different types of cinematography, directing, and performance capture.

It would make an interesting game, though.

God, they make such great tech demo's. Can't wait to see their new game.
