i had t agree with u man. i had went to alicesoft home page to check out the other rance series after i played sengoku and most of them look like a winner but sadly non-translated. although learning jap is the best way around it like the other guys said, but some of us just aren't cut out to learn much if ya get wat i meant :P
oh btw i was particulary interested in the series when rance n sill master n slave postion was swapped

the thing is, i can't read Japanese. so even if i wanted to play this game i wouldn't understand it

Plus our leader's comp broke so not many things have been done. Plus most people have classes again like... this week. I have said it many times and I will say it again. There is a fourth option, use the wiki's or read forums for how to understand the game. The only downside to method 4 is you dont know what 4/5s of the skills do but just about everything else is passable.

AGTH, ITH, Translator Aggregator (I'm sure I spelled this wrongly), ATLAS. ITH works on most engines(And most other visual novels with gameplays, they either don't show or lags), AGTH is simpler for inserting user hooks (ITH screws up some of the commands sometimes). AGTH and ITH are hook programs.
ATLAS and Translator Aggregator are translation programs. ATLAS has the simplest interface, TA has much more functions like displaying all in Hiragana etc.

got to ask can anyone tell me what rance's skill "sex" can do? I maxed it early on thinking it might do somethings to improve his abilities but i have yet to see any changes

I have to agree with having difficulty learning Japanese. English is actually my third language and right now I'm having a hard time using it. I'm also trying to learn Japanese but it is taking longer than I thought it would be. I'm also having difficulty reading Kanji and I don't recognize all hiragana and katagana characters.

If I am correct rance's sex skill increases the level cap improvement you get from sex. From 0 to 3.
