Ranking The E3 2010 Conferences

1. Nintendo

Aside from the Zelda disaster where the controller didn't have any contact with the sensor half of the time it was pretty much all awesome.

Metroid: Other M, New Zelda, New Donkey Kong Country, Goldeneye Remake, Paper Mario 3DS, Resident Evil Revelations, New Golden Sun, OoT 3D Remake, MGS3D, etc..

And ofc the 3-D-fuckin-S!


^Can't go wrong with this shit. Except Kirby, which looked like actual shit tbh, but it could be fun for all i know.

2. Sony

Solid conference with some nice looking games (fps's everywhere), too much crappy montages about their 3D shit and whatever else it was though, and LBP2 looked meh, didn't like it's predecesor either tbh.
Kevin Butler was pretty fun, and Twisted Metal looked cool.

Couldn't care less about Portal 2, i'll probably play that on the PC anyway.

Still haven't seen Sony or Nintendo.

From what I've seen so far, microsoft is a cunt for having recorded the Kinect presentation. Ubisoft is a douche for having laserfags running around making themselves look fucking stupid, and because the host was a fucking prick. EA did pretty good though.

I'll put EA in my top three for now.

Sony - They had good presentation, Kevin Butler, many new exclusives, and steam.

Nintendo - 3DS and alot of games, some looked good, some looked bad, some only people who were teens in the 80's would like and still using that douchebag for there man spokeman

Microsoft - .... um ...... hm .......

So far



1. Sony + Kevin Butler = win

2. Nintendo - 3DS and MGS 3 is a good match

3. Microsoft ... um.... couldn't care less, only a fan of windows.


This ain't my final verdict; still 2 days left. Still waiting for Killzone 3 demo and a possible GTA V or a Vice city re-imagining, something like that.

1. Nintendo - 3DS, great list of planned games for it, new zelda, more stuff I don't want to list.

2. Sony - Only thing I cared about was LBP2.

3. Microsoft - Ugh, I usually like Microsoft's presentation and I prefer the 360, but they blew it this this. Way to have nothing new to show this year.

And it still sucked.

Nintendo wowed me the most. I gotta say it convinced me to buy the 3DS.

I won't be rating,why? (beside the fact that MS is dead last). While E3 is an important expo, I just get this feeling that Nintendo pulls out EVERYTHING in that show and leave the other (GDC, TGS, etc) nearly empty. While Sony on the other hand divide their product at each show. Has an example, while there was a showing of the Move, they put a lot more focus on that motion control during the GDC conference a few weeks ago. This time, we mostly got previews of the tech on some new games, and games from their dev in Europe and NA. Notice how many of the PS big games from Japan (except from GT) was shown. I strongly believe they are keeping stuff like Last Guardian, FF14, that is made in Japan, to be shown at the Tokyo Game Show.

One the other hand, Killzone, Sorcery and Twisted Metal looked amusing.

Any ideas onto when the 3ds comes out?

Sony and Microsoft have some games coming up that I really want to get, such as Twisted Metal, Halo Reach, Medal of Honor, Last Guardian, and a ton of PSP games. I didnt even watch Nintendo, I could care less about the new DS, the only downside to E3 was all the 3D and motion Control talk. Overall 4/5

1. Nintendo

Nintendo now officially is absolved of the crimes they committed during the 2008 disaster. They showed pretty much everything I could hope for and then some. Finally footage of the new Zelda after years of nothing but a single piece of art, a new Kirby game that just looks absolutely adorable, new footage on Metroid, a new DK platformer for the first time in over a decade, and new information on the 3DS, which will include launch titles such as A NEW PAPER MARIO GAME.

I was squealing like a little schoolgirl.

After watching the Nintendo and Sony conferences, I gotta say, Nintendo fucking owned the previous press conferences and set the bar for Sony. Everything at Nintendo was epic (I mean that in the way they presented it): The music was epic, the presentation of games was epic, and the "NO MO GLASSES, NIGGA", was epic. But, Sony looked at that shit, and said, "OH YEAH!?" Reggie was bragging about 3D in his hands, while making a bunch of claims, and Sony said, "Oh yeah, motherfucker? We're gonna show 3D to our audience LIVE!" Nintendo tried to show off the new Zelda game. Sony said, "Oh yeah!? We're gonna show our new magic game with better graphics and without this pussy "interference" nonsense." Nintendo has asians who could hardly speak english. Sony's asian spoke english well. Sony must have had a good circle jerk back stage.

Sony > Nintendo

EA in 3rd place

P.S., Ubisoft's host should learn how to be funny without being an annoying cock like Kevin butler.
P.P.S., Sony shouldn't be talking shit about how their PSP is so badass. 3DS > PSP
