Oi... No fighting games -_- I only have one control anyway, so fun and awesome single player is what I'm looking for.

then go on internet and look for the Guilty Gear X2 ost and listen to 'Still in the Dark' this track will convince to play the game.

Yea well, I dun like playing fighting games by myself, feels pointless and is boring.

The .hack// series are pretty interesting, assuming you can handle the (admittedly decent) english voices.

Than I rather play it in japanese. Or find an undubbed version.

Those aren't in any particular order, except Tales of Legendia, they're all pretty much equally awesome JRPGs.

Everything by NIS America, Gust, and ATLUS. I'd also recommend Natsume for the times you just want zany fun, etc. (harvest moon, river king, chulip, etc)

Most things from Natsume in those terms aren't on the PS2. I'd also like to say that Natsume is the localization team and Marvelous Entertainment is the group that makes all the games themselves.

Big fan of the Harvest Moons and Rune Factory series myself, so that's how I know all this. :)

If you do have a DS or a Wii, I wholeheartedly recommend the Rune Factory series. It is literally Japanese RPG meets Harvest Moon game, a fantastically fresh twist on the series with some nice plots to boot. In case you don't know about Harvest Moon, the series is a farming simulation game where you also go about courting people from the local village.
