Scariest games to date.

Amnesia The Dark Descent and Justine.. god I just freeze into my chair when I hear a monster/suitor making sounds behind me.. games like these really get to me, that sense of helplessness is something I've never seen before in other games.
Silent Hill Shattered Memories. Weaponless for the whole game... definitely something worth mentioning

Fatal Frame 1 was absolute hell for me.

The Fatal Frame series, for sure, I'd get so freaked out that I'd scream and throw the controller. lol ^^; I think the 3rd game freaked me out the most, because you're not even safe in your own home! I'd see things move/disappear, and wonder if it was my imagination, or if it really did happen.

I think Rule of Rose had its moments too, though I found it to be more depressing/disturbing than scary once I finished the game.

first 3 silent hills, first 2 resident evils and Dead space's ending, oh and deffently the Fatal Frame series!!!!!! and for those scared by amnesia i don't get why??? i found it rather dull and repetitive and i was playing at 3 in the morning the same way i play any horror video game.

and... well that's about it, everything else is either an action game misplaced in the horror genre or an over rated thriller.

I never liked FEAR, they scared the crap out of me,
and also AVP (the newest one), not because it was scary but after a while the damn motion sensor noise stuck in your head and made you paranoid xD

Especially the B version with the labyrinth. Scariest fucking thing. Hit a dead end? Kill game process. I'm not turning around.

The game that was the most scrariest to me has to be Juon: The Grudge

The suffering and Silent Hill, I only played SH for a bit and had to put it down, it was a bit nerve racking for me, even while Im blasting my music while playing it and in a fully lit room (im too pussy to play in the dark)

Shit, just read the documents from the official site, that seems fucking scary. Haven't seen vids yet lol.

The scariest games that I played was Silent Hill 1-4, The Suffering, Dead Space 1-2,and Resident Evil 0-3.

Anyhow, played through siren.sh.dead space 1,2....and to top it of fatal frame 4 Japan version....I literaally couldn't sleep...this week...so what was your most terrifying moment?

The Path, short game that is more freaky-shit than scary. First time I played it my head spun from all the imagery, now watching the videos on youtube makes me realise how great that game was.
