ok heres a question for ya so now you can get unbored where the hell is the hirami lemons!! i can hold my own against the armys but i run out of time when it comes to finding those damn lemons

They're in Mikan (the place south of the ninja house). There'll be a purple command to find the lemons which will open a dungeon to get said lemons.

ok next question it seems every time after the time skip when the 4 brother appear rance always looses any tips? i have it saved right after the time skip

Well 4 brothers mean Shimazu, but I don't recall a time skip, could you provide further information (ex: what is Rance losing at)?

never mind i got past it and finally beat it the problem was after the demon army gets cornered the shimazu try to assassinate him after a battle but i just plain didn't use him at all so but now i have another issue its a game system when i want to start a new game(after i beat the first one) i try to do a free for all after i pick which house i want to be it freezes and wont let me do anything any help on that?

oh and a foot note i beat the game and somehow managed to get 5 points lol i had to refight xavier like 4 times

Oh that event, yeah that triggers after a battle and basically forces a battle with Shimazu and Rance + whoever else was with him during the battle it was triggered on IIRC. How did you keep losing though, from my recollection all four of them should've been seriously depowered in terms of unit size, so unless you used a really bad team mix with Rance in it, or unless they all gunned for Rance and somehow killed him.

Anyways, as for your problem with FFA. What version of the English patch are you playing, because this was addressed in v.8? It has to do with how the name of the provinces are read, basically with them being in English it caused errors. v.8 reverted the naming to make FFA functional.

As for the points. The points you get to use for 2nd game bonuses is = your highest score + 5*route completions (true, ken, 56, ran). So, you always end up with at least 5 points due to a route completion.

not sure on the version but if its the patch how do i remove it now that i dont have the original file?

Look in your save folder, if the saves are in japanese then you're using the old version and switching to .8 should fix it (though you may want to back up the save folder).

They ARE the most tedious to get.

Try to limit the amount of houses destroyed before getting to them and get into more than one war (particularly Mouri, Houjo or Shimazu (in the Ran route) largely because they have territory and money for recruiting) to limit and cull the recruitment pool. Don't kill off any other houses you have a war with too, you don't want to add more generals to the recruitment pool and decreasing the possibility of the takedas getting recruited.

Kill monkey is the preferred route, but don't set the difficulty too low. You want the enemy to attack you as well to increase the kill count.

But yes, the idea is to kill/capture commanders, as many as possible to speed up the recruitment (obviously you have to capture the takedas, don't really know if they're killable).
