I just bought a 2nd hand pokemon platinum and took a peek at the pokemon storage;
Guess what I found? Loads of shiny and legendary pokemons! :D

Then again I cheated the fuck out of it and caught all 251 pokémon before even getting my first starter. Had to be "given" a Pokémon to be able to initiate a battle though, so I went with that Spearow named KENYA, the one holding the mail which gets you the Nightmare TM.
Still need to get the Pink Bow and Spell tag from the last two Week Siblings.
