Skyrim: Stormcloak or Imperial?

I'll always be in the Imperial Legion cause the Stormcloaks are weak as piss racist commie pinko hippie fascists!!

(Even though im an Imperial through and through and we're at 'peace' with that ELVEN SCUM ive made it a personal policy to kill every Thalmor on sight regardless)

Imperials for me; also after installing Warzones, Occupy Skyrim, Immersive Military Patrols, and Skyrim Live mods, joining a side has made Skyrim a lot more exciting.

thats what i do too, i see a thalmor, i take em out even if they havent done anything to me, unless im in a town, than i leave em alone (which is weird, considering im a nord thief)

Stormcloaks. I always love fighting against the bigger authority.

Stormcloaks. Pretty much for the same reason art mentioned. It's more fun that way. I don't like their racist attitude but it's not a deal breaker. They are still the underdogs in my eyes.

I chose the Legion, reason being that they have better weapons and armor. Besides, after Oblivion, I gotta stay loyal to the Empire (Though I'm a Breton) no matter what they do.

I chose Imperials for my first go and I will go for Stormcloaks on a second one. I think, in general, the idea of the later is really cool, but they are so... xenophobic and racist that it PISSES ME OFF, especially Ulfric. Most of them are kinda dicks too.

But, if I go through them, maybe I'll get a better understanding toward that. I can understand why in theory, but in execution... meh, it rubs me the wrong way.

I chose the Stormcloaks. At first I just wanted to chose them because in every walktrough or gameplay I saw people chose the Imperial soldier to escape with. So at first it was just curiosity. I then saw what the Imperials were like, most of them were just assholes who rambled on of their great Empire. However, all the Stormcloaks were different somehow from the Imperials. Yeah, they went on about their pride as Nords just like Imperials and their Empire but, I just seemed to somehow like them more than the Imperials, maybe it was their ammusing accents (LOL). There's no doubt that the Nords supporting the Stormcloaks were rascist, but hey; I was an Argonian mage. If I led them to victory I knew they would change their ideas a bit.

I went with the Imperials, because Ulfric and his dirty old city hate me (I'm a Dark Elf).

Ummmmmm.... so the Empire is like totally the way to go!

I loooked up some of the lore and Skyrim is way in deep, the Second Aldmeri Dominion and other great powers are not going away just because someone a bunch of stormcloaks kicked the Empire out of Skyrim; they are made up of multiple land with more resources and peoples than Skyrim ever could. A decade or two without the empire, Skyrim will get STEAMROLLED by outside forces.

Plus, if you aren't a nord, you are a hypocrite. Stormcloaks are "Skyrim for the nords!"... So if you are a nord, go ahead I guess. >_>

I went stormcloak because there quests were easier personally :)

Imperials because Stormcloacks are racists towards the kitties.

Imperial. I have a soft spot in my heart for the roman army and the imperials seem to draw from them quite a bit.

Stormcloaks all the way. I never even bothered with an Imperial play through.

I mean, fuck. They tried to kill you. Fuck. That. Not to mention the Stormcloak cause is more just, even if Ulfric is a power hungry madman.

Least amount of bloodshed. If war continued, casualties would be bigger.

Stormcloak all the way. Empire is corrupt and weak. I always feel like batman when i hunt down an Imperial wearing my Nightingale armor.
