Sonic Adventure 2 HD

Honestly, this is my 3rd favorite 3D Sonic game(With Colors and Heroes being 1st and 2nd, respectively) but this game is still awesome to play. Releases October 4th on PSN and Oct.5th on 360, with the PC release coming sometime afterward. I don't know what the price is, but assuming Jet Set Radio was released a few weeks back, I'd say 10 for the game and another 5 for the Battle DLC Add-on.


Edit: PS3 release date is October 2, and the Battle DLC add on is three dollars(or 240 MSP)

Also, Nights into DREAMS is coming out on that same day, and that game is getting a holiday expansion that was only available on the original Sega Saturn version.

This is probably my favorite game. I can't wait for this!!

It's actually been confirmed for real this time? I'm still a bet skeptical, since the video didn't show any commands (Light Dash, for example) long enough to confirm what it was for, and like hell I'm going to try to freeze frame it. I also don't see any difference between the HD and GameCube version of the two. It may just be that it can be played widescreen, or it's because of my graphical blindness.

Regardless, I hope it has additional content. I still play the GameCube version from time to time, so I'm somewhat looking forward to it.

I have to agree that I didn't see any change in the graphics either.

It could be the same as the Okami HD port. The only difference in graphics is that you need to look really closely to notice that the SD version is played on a slightly inferior TV. Oh, and it added trophies.

Well, time to collect all 180 Emblems and unlock Green Hill Zone again.

Also, for those saying it's not HD, they aren't using HD models. They updated the quality of the output (meaning that it projects to 720p and 1080p) instead of using higher-poly models and backgrounds.

It's how Sega stays true to the original content, and I appreciate it greatly.

I've played through this whole game on an emulator that raises the resolution and even adds on more to the picture so it can be played in widescreen. The textures are still the same resolution of course but it still looked really good and played smoothly.

Words cannot express my excitement upon waking up and seeing this thread.

I didn't see any difference between this and my GC version. Anyway, I'm hoping that they improve or include a new Chao Garden.
