Soooo Gears Of War 3?

So i just bought this game like 2 days ago and once got the chance to play it once (Because of work and shit) and i have to say the graphics are quite nice, even tho i have barley played the story at all, since i had to download a shit ton of add on's.
Anyways the game offers no advice on how to play it? D:
But maye its just because i have NEVER played a single one since they game out nor have i even seen the game play but the game looks promising and the "Horde" game mode sounds right around my ally, im quite excited to try it out since it offers a boss battle in it too.
So have you guys got a hands on play through of it?
And if so what would your recommend i play on it, and let it be noted i bought the season pass so all the DLC's are taken care of! ^-^

If it's your first time playing a GOW game you should probably start off with the campaign. Then move on to Horde/Beast. Then move on to online play. Mainly because it can get frustratingly hard if you don't know the mechanics like the back of your hand.

Well i did alittle campaign and killed the first boss, then i joined Horde and got to round 14 and kinda died! xD
But i gotta say the control are quite easy once you know how to use them.
But yeah as for the multiplayer, ima do that one last i wanna get at least use to the controls and know the tips and trick to kill someone. :D

pretty much what Ice-Style Jonin wrote, start off doing campaign then do Horde before doing online versus. gears of war games aren't as easy to pick up and play online compare to other games like COD or halo but i still think gears is the better game compare to those two in my opinion

Gotta agree, the graphics/gameplay is faaaar different then those two.
But after alittle dab into the campaign and the horde i am starting to get use to it haha.
But i have to say the story line has got my laughing here and there.

yah the campaign in this game has a lot of unique dialog and can be vary fun to play with friends since the campaign has 4 player co-op

So i have heard, but right now im stuck playing by myself, Since NETFLIX is being a god damn connection hog and renders my xbox live connection useless.
OH IT IS SAD DAY.

Becareful if your gonna go to versus as theres a lot of tryhards, campers, wall bouncers, cheaters, and mostly gnasher battle. The versus mode will rip you apart at first as there many experience GoW3 players who can destroy you like nothing, so I advise you to enter at your own risk. How I know? I experience it all. Anyway if your the type of person who likes coop play, like everyone else say do campaign first as to familiarize your with the control and feel of the game. Another great coop mode would be horde, you and four other people working together trying to stay alive for 50 waves of endless enemy trying to kill off your team as much as possible. The last coop mode to play is Beast, it works like horde but with a twist. You play as one of the locust horde (i.e. Ticker, Butcher, Savage Drone, Kantus, Berserker, etc). Only this time, you have limited number of people to kill and you have a limited time to finish the wave and you only have 11 wave to finish the match.

Use the Sawed-off and Retro Lancer until you're good with the Gnasher.
