Soul Calibur 5

Oh hey, maybe Noel will be a guest character in Soul calibur 5, now that will be freakin awesome.

Rostar will be 29 non-guests characters so there will be a lot of New additions and maybe some removed and replace by descendants. Maybe a Daughter/Son of Ivy? Or perhaps Li Longs son? Or previously young characters mentioned but not used? Like Bangoo for a example. That also brings up the question of Voldo he's already in his 50s so how will this fare when hes in his late 60s and will we see that he has an apprentice of equal weirdness?

Oh I wish Dampierre was in the main series. He's awesome.

Well if you consider magical elements in the game there may be some that kept the youth. Ivy is an alchemist so she might discover an Elixir of Youth, Taki has Mystical Arts of Ninjutsu that kept her young possibly. Amy is a Vampire same with Rapheal so they may Age slower.

Didn't Talim's bio say that she could control the wind? Perhaps with her age she will have some more experience with it. Maybe some flashy jump and glide moves?

Well i hope that they will just replace more character with new character or at least just show that they are already changing generation as i can not stand seeing those getting milk all over which in the end cause the story to goes haywire.

A clearly look at SC5's new Protagonist and Siegfried

That guy sure likes lynxes... He's got one for shoulder pads and lynx reliefs on his boots...

1.) Siegfried will probably turn into a villain with that whole " humanity should be purged " thing

2.) Soul Edge gets nastier and nastier with each installment. Seriously, did you see that thing?

3.) A few new characters? At least half the roster will be new, unless they want this game to be full of arthritic, mentally decrepit geezers. Remember, this is a really long time ago. Medicine sucked back then and the human lifespan was about 50 years at best.

4.) Please make Raphael good again. Or make his replacement good, like SC2 Raphael good.

5.) DMC's Sparta for guest character? Anybody?

Raphael isn't truly evil though, hes more obsessed. with Amy and making her life better which means he does some evil to make her happy. Also Mitsurugi is confirmed to return along with Nightmare .

No way.

Anyway, Patroclus looks weak. Siegfried FTW.

Looking at this, I'd say that in addition to Siegfried and the new main char, Sophitia (at least I think it's her) and Mitsurugi are confirmed.

Does anyone else think that Mitsurugi doesn't look old enough? I was expecting (i.e. hoping for) more of a grizzled samurai thing, but he doesn't really look that different.

As long as Yoshimitsu is still a beast, I'll have no problem with this game.

She's stopped aging, too. Thank God! I don't think I could've handled her 17yrs older. Not in that outfit. Not when she's almost 40 already.
_But who didn't see this exact thing coming? No, not because she's got cursed blood from an ageless evil pirate and Soul Edge which is literally also known as (last time I checked) "the key to eternal youth", but because Ivy is without a doubt one of the most popular female characters in fighting games, ranking high up there with immediately recognizable female characters such as Mai and Chun-Li. She's so damn popular she's been on the cover of the game for at least one platform for nearly every installment Soul Calibur 2 and on. It was pretty much a definite that Ivy would be in 5, but it's good to see Hisaharu Tago confirm it.

What does this mean for Taki, though, who's arguably the Cammy to Ivy's Chun-Li as far as recognizable female fighting game characters go? She doesn't have Soul Edge for a bloodtype...but she is a ninja.

I still want Dampierre included into the main series... or at least a custom character style.

When Kaimax mentioned Dampierre, I thought of D. As a guest character, that would be badass.

4 disappointed the hell out of me. What I want is to see the return of Weapons Master (II), Chronicles of the Sword (III), Quick time alternate endings (III), Team Versus(II), Cute shop owners that you can annoy(III, and Lynette was friggin hot), and A BETTER character creation scheme(III, IV's was just sloppy as hell).

Being that this game takes place 17 years in the future, I can see a lot of characters getting the axe (If they kill off Kilik or Seung Mina, I'll cry) but I just want SC to return to it's former glory. BTW, the daughter of Sophitia sounds annoying.

what a crappy trailer.... gave no information about the game whatsoever.... i'm excited for the game, but bummed about this trailer

definitely looks awesome now... parry system, better counter/combo system, and air combos? : D

If taki isnt in it im killing my next door neibour.. wont help much.. but i dont like him -.-
