I cant say that I have the heart to get this one. The time skip pretty much means they have fucked the entire cast, and from my knowledge I believe they have removed Sophitia entirely, which is FUCKING GAY. Also the protagonist that is replacing the ever awesome seigfried is some gay Sophitia ripoff.

Most of all though, my brain melts away into melted fermented cheese when I contemplate how everyones appearance and moves have been altered after 17 fucking years.

My delicious Talim, Seung Mina, Amy, and Taki have been tainted by the fucked up ravages of time & I dont have the heart to bear the profound sadness of it all.

Also beyond that if how the Hell do you portray Astaroth and Maxi after 17 years?

I just hope they have cervantes or a character with same fight style , had to of been the funniest one to play as. but dear god i hope they never give us a midget like yoda again -,-

Pyr has amnesia and wanders the land.

The only reason Ivy is the way she is right now is due to the fact that Ivy has the cursed blood from her father Cervantes, when he was under Soul Edge Male and Female.
She was to become the 2nd host should Cervantes perish, and a portion of Soul Edge still resides in her. (Mind you, this is speculation on my part, but her history is on the mark if you ever read the back story in the gallery in the first SC and played SE home port)

New character was just revealed at Evo2K11.


Leihua, daughter of Xianghua. Xianghua won't be playable, her daughter is taking her place and she's 15.



Also, there was a demo for the new critical edge system.
Also, they revealed Zwei's "partner" Ein.

Also, the new red ninja girl is supposedly Taki's apprentice.

This is just basically "the next generation" game lol. Well putting that aside, I still hope they put in a proper story mode like SC 3.

Fresh off the presses, four new badass facts on this badass title!
Firstly, SCV will be a January 31(or 21, saw that number on a different site) release. FUCK YEAH!

I really don't like the games this character comes from, but I have to admit that it is probably the best fit of any special character ever implemented, and the character does have a good personality. I wanted an SC-only game for once, but I guess I can dig this.

Well, fuck. Now I HAVE to buy this game. To be perfectly honest, I would've preferred Altair, but Ezio looks like a great addition, nonetheless. His fighting style in the Assassin's Creed games seems like the perfect match for a guest character in SCV.

To be honest, I feel like Namco/Bandai could show more of the main cast before showing the the guest character, but Ezio is still a pretty good choice.

But, if I could choose another character to be a guest character in SCV, it would be KOS-MOS.

I feel like this game is sneaking up on me. I think it's fair to say it's the first big release of the year.

I'm really looking forward to see how to character customization has been amped up for the new game. That was my favorite part of 3 and 4.

I'm perordered with Amazing for release day shipping.

Is anyone else excited about this game?
Dreading changes that have been made?
Care about the Assassin's Creed guy being included?

We've got a couple weeks to wait, so I'm excited to hear what everyone else thinks.

I love fighting games, and SC is one of my favorites. I've been looking forward to it since I read about it, and just like you I'm very excited to see the new character customization, that is maybe my favorite part.

As long as they keep the basic concepts from the other games I have no worries that they will fuck it up.

I love Soul Calibur.

I'm still not really feeling the new characters yet. I feel like they need to show more characters to get me more interested.

I don't know, it might just be myself liking the original cast more than anything else. I am still missing Talim and Amy, since Talim has been my main since SC2, and Amy as my sub since SC4.

That was my biggest letdown for SC4, I love the story and was disappointed that SC4 didnt have one.
