Anyway, back to my original question, how do you get this game to work :]

you got the feeling of hostility...? my choice of using the word 'fuck' stems from you using it in the first place. There are two scenarios which i thought to be plausible:

1. You do not mean anything bad when using 'fuck' when you ask: "how the fuck do i make this work?". i accept that this scenario is possible. Therefore you shouldnt assume the worst from me when i use the very same word (though in a different form) as a reply to you. in this case, i question your (?) reaction of: "Are you going to start a flame war on the different tones fuck can be used?" since you are trying to tell me that you feel that its ok for you to use a 'fuck' in a request for help, but when someone else uses the word, you automatically believe that its an insult.

(note that i would have replied: "it is supposed to be able to work with vista. any problems you encountered prolly resulted from some thing you fucking did wrong or fucking didnt do.", if i ever wanted to insult you. i would just like to say that i am throwing the word (hopefully in a close enough way as you used it) back at you since (i do not get your intentions of using the word), (i realise there is a chance that you prolly didnt think through before speaking). [note2: you see, if you meant the fuck in a happy friendly way, you can be sure i'll respond in a happy friendly manner. if anything, it's the way you typed out your message that attracted criticism]

as a round-up, i believe that if didnt think that your statement is insulting, you wouldnt think mine is insulting. either that or you thought that it could have been a little excessive but you just didnt care.

2. you didnt care/just wanted to flame-bait somebody like me/(negative connotations). so... hypocrite for getting butthurt when you are flamebaiting?
