PS3 JP only release. If you play the PC version, you're in for a real surprise, as just about the only thing that's the same is the storyline. Character designs and even character personalities are drastically changed in the Anime vs. the Ps3 version. Not sure how much the content was changed in PS3- but the PC is essentially a moe comedy in the context of a fantasy far campaign, and the anime dropped the moe completely.

Playing the PS3 version now, :P

so, there's no "big" difference with the PC and the Ps3 besides
-Chara design
-Battle System
-Cgs (full remake)
-"sidestories" Especially Rasty's "side story"
-Still has the same moe-comedy, and more ecchi-comedy , since the H-scenes are taken out.


Playing Avalon no Nazo too, new story since it's a sequel.

well, the battle system was changed from a normal "RTS" to a normal "square-grid" turn based strategy game, Like utawarerumono.

Same Combo system, same simpleness. :D

This may be of some interest. The PC character designs as compared to the PS3/Anime designs.

Interestingly enough, in some cases I seem to prefer the PC designs. Although that may well be because I'm more familiar with them...

Well, considering the era, most unmarried people would be 15 or younger. It makes sense that Arawn is the only really adult looking character in the game (besides Ogam).

Most of the designs I'm fairly ambivalent about. I do think Morgan is a lot cuter in the extra moe PC version. I also hate the revision to Gaius. In the PC version, he actually looks like a roman soldier, but they completely changed that.

I actually wrote "most" at first, then changed it to "some"... :lol:

And no PS3 here either.

well, at least the revision made him look more "bad-ass" lol XD

well, the anime adapted the designs from the Ps3 game. so, it's obvious.

but I still don't understand why they changed Rathty's Pockets into a large sacks...
