The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG Will Land On PlayStation 3
0
This week’s Famitsu magazine has a listing for The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG for the PlayStation 3.
Release date is winter 2012/2013
Super Robot Taisen: Original Generations was originally a title released for the Gameboy Advance. It was followed up with a sequel, titled Original Generation 2, and both games were eventually given enhanced remakes on the PlayStation 2 as a single game, simply titled — like the original GBA game – Super Robot Taisen: Original Generations.
This game could be a follow-up to the PlayStation 2 title.
Update: Banpresto promises HD quality graphics and 3D backgrounds for The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG. The PlayStation 3 game will make use of dynamic camerawork during battles too.

Ing and his robot Ash (pictured) are new to The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG. Ariel Org and the Flickerei Geist from Banpresto’s PS2 game Real Robot Regiment are confirmed to be in the PS3 game. Scans also show a Joshua Radcliff and his mecha Aile Chavelier in Super Robot Taisen Destiny too. Ryujinki, Cerberus, Altalion, and MP Gespenst Mk-II Type N and Type C are in the game too.
Famitsu magazine just revealed The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG for the PlayStation 3 a couple hours ago; we now have some initial details on the game, too. For starters, it’s coming to Japan in 2011, and will cost 7,329 yen.
That’s the standard edition. The special limited edition will set you back a whopping 41,790 yen. Wondering what’s inside? The limited edition will come with a Blu-ray collection of the Super Robot Taisen OG: The Inspector anime series. All 26 episodes of the anime will be included along with a booklet, and the entire affair will be released in a specially-drawn package.
The 2nd Super Robot Taisen OG’s battle scenes will have 3D backgrounds with 2D character sprites.

What I'm expecting in this SRW :
- Banpreios
- Dis Astranagan
- DaiRaiOh
- 4th DGG XAM series
- Asakim{I know that this one is imposible}
What made me shocked :
- Aile Chevalier is in and that means that there's Ganadul also and also Joshua's sis.
- The new mech looks like a hibrid of Virtual-On and a Hucklebein.
- It's still in 2D.

More of a reason to get myself a PS3. I hope that someday SRW J will be put into the spotlight. I wasn't able to play Real Robot Regiment, but I'm really liking Flickerei Geist already. It really is a "patched-up ghost" just like what its name suggests.

The Official site has been updated. Come and check it out.

My Coments :
- I just notice that Alie Chevalier has a sheild. Never saw that in SRW D before. Maybe it's because mine never get hit by anything. lol
- That black RaiOh ninja looking mech name is Jinrai and he's an enemy.
- There's still no attack spoiler pictures about the new Hero{looks like Cobray don't you think?} and the mech{looks like an upgrade of Hucklebein} here.
- Wildraubritter and Grungust Type 1 got upgrades.
My Guesses :

Bump with some updates.
Its release date is now TBA instead of September 29th. It seems the reason for delay is to polish the product further.
Meanwhile in this week famitsu:

or, here: http://www.famitsu.com/news/201107/14046567.html
We were shown some new screens for R Blade Custom, G Compatible Kaiser, Cybaster and Vegalion along with their respective pilots.
Also, they have updated the main site's mechanic page with those new revealed units

Woah, the way background moves during cutscenes kinda reminded me of SRW 64
What is this? Hugo in the Garmraid? I'm really interested to see how will they make it work seeing Cerberus is also included.
And I now also have hope to see Ganador and Strega would be included for Josh and Rim too.
Also, it seems they still haven't announced the new release date, right?
I only see 'coming soon' in that PV, or have they?

MAYBE, Hugo in Garmgaid and Aqua in Cerberus[but ofcourse their upgrades too].
Yeah, then them both can combine to become FORTE GIGAS. But still, Seeing Alie Chevalier and Blance Neige in this one is already great[not to mention their OVAAAPOOOWAAAAAA upgrades]. But heck, Forte Gigas is too much. LOL
They'll release it [hopefully] on mid/late october.
Well, RaiOh and DaiRaiOh is already confirmed[HOPEFULLY HAS A COMBINATION ATTACK WITH THE OTHER DGG XAM SERIES], what about Shin RyuKoOh, and Shin KouRyuOh? I hope there is one.
AND ANOTHER THING, WERKBAU and Assault Scout won't be there right?
