Self explanatory title is self explanatory. Also, to avoid this just simply being a naming thread post your reasons for liking those characters as well. Also if you want post your most hated characters as well. I actually have many though so it could take a while. I'll edit when I decide. Anyways for me it would have to be 1. Isaac Clarke from Dead Space: Spoiler:He singlehandedly fought off the entire crew(plus some colonists) of the largest planet cracker type vessel in his universe while simultaneously repairing a ship in deteriorating orbit, after which he found out he was insane, destroyed the source of the threat on his life, then basically destroyed a planet. Four years later he wakes up in a strait jacket in the SAME situation & not only manages to survive, he fucks everything up all over again, cures his insanity, & even gets a hot 1 eyed love interest in the process. 2. Ultimecia from FF8: Spoiler:In the perfect mindfuck ever you find out that everything you do in the game leads to her creation, and by defeating her ensure that a neverending loop occur. She also intentionally played the stereotypical angle of an evil sorceress, rather than a good guy with bad ideas. FUCK YES! 3. Desco from Disgaea 4: Spoiler:Shes just too damn cute. & a monster girl. EPIC WIN! Need I say more?

Hey what makes you like Ryu exactly? I love his fighting style & design myself, but over the years his character is kinda inconsistent imo. Not judging your choice btw just honestly curious on your opinion.

Well more because I pretty much grew up playing as him in street fighter games. I always thought he was cool being the karate guy fighting only to make himself stronger. I guess in a way, I admire his resolve to get strong no matter what; but to do it the right way without taking any shortcuts.

1) Vergil Sparda-Devil May Cry 3 and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, the epitome of badass-ness second to Dante.

2) Yuri Hyuga-Shadow Hearts 1 and Covenant, just play the games and see why Yuri is so lovable as a protaganist and why From The New World was a bit disappointing compared to the first two SH games.

3) Ragna The BloodEdge from BlazBlue series.

1 and 2 are serious, however I chose Barry Steakfries from Age of Zombies for a simple reason, nobody mentioned mobile gaming yet and I felt obligated to bring the genre into the thread.
