Trophies and Achievements

Well, I do my try my very best to get all the trophy except for the online requirement (it be ages for me to get to online due to problem and by that time, no one be playing the old game). Beside, I am a slow collector e.g I bough Ressistance: FOM this year. Since I have few game available, I mostly try to complete all the trophy for fun and a little boasting with the achievement. It's kinda fun yet frustrated like getting all the emblem for MGS4(trophy didn't exist at that time, I think). But not all game I bough, I complete 100% like Mirror edge & rockband. To me, I prefer storyline and gameplay, the achievement is a challenge for me to go crazy.

I only try to unlock 'em if there's an award OTHER than a virtual trophy(I.E, secret movies, new characters unlocked, new costumes,ect). Also, some of the achievements look like hell to unlock. Not worth it imo xD

It really depends on the game. If I feel like I can get them all without wasting hundreds of hours, and the game is still fun at that point, I'll try to get more than I would normally.

I hate the fact that they would make those difficulty trophies where you have to replay the whole story on a harder level just to get it

I don't have LIVE so I can never get 100% usually so I strive for 70-80% completion. It sometimes fun to spend hours on a game and when you finally get that achievement it feels so satisfying.

Generally when i play a game for achievements i try and get them all

LIVE? Do you mean you have to pay to get achievements?

Certain achievements sometimes involve going online and playing a certain amount of matches, getting to a certain rank, etc. etc. I know most fighting games have those type of achievements, oh and Battlefield Bad Company 2 has a few online achievements.

6 platinum on my ps3 and 16 out of 32 games complete on my 360

I dont play it for the trophys, if they happen, its fine. but nothing i would waste my time on^^

I only have every achievement in 2 games, Halo 3 and Fallout 3, I played the hell out of those

Yeah it sucks. Also they have like win one game online, then like when 5 games in a row or a ranked match. Can't do any of that.

They really want you play online

I know I won't get the Platinum for SSFIV because of the win ten ranked matches. Along with complete all trails trophy, it's not exactly easy.

Btw I have like 10 platinum trophies. I usually go for a Platinum once I've beaten the main story, to me, trophies just give the game a little extra replayability.

You kidding, right? That's NOTHING.

Try winning a 100 ranked matches in FIFA 10 without getting bored or quitting. Now THAT takes real skill. (and yes, I'm bragging)

I think he meant he can't go online. Haha, i only buy fifa to play with friends, other than that, i find most of the stuff crap. Don't wanna be wasting time on collect those kinds of achievements.
