Ubisoft's new DRM cracked in less than a day.

So the new DRM for PC gamers that required to have an online connection at all times during play has been cracked by the infamous Skid-Row in less than a day. I feel bad for the legitimate users.
Here's the Slashdot article where I found the info:

"You have probably seen rumors on the web that Assassin's Creed II and Silent Hunter 5 have been cracked," the publisher told website CVG. "Please know that this rumor is false and while a pirated version may seem to be complete at start up, any gamer who downloads and plays a cracked version will find that their version is not complete."
...DRM being the only thing missing?

I hope i can Play Assassin Creed 2 Offline >.>You can keep dreaming :D the saving system is f***ing stupid, the internet connection is required in order to UPLOAD THE SAVE FILE TO UBISOFT'S SERVERS. Playing offline will require a change of the saving system's code.
That's just mean, and also, there is this site where Assassin's Creed 2 players can "Fight" each other (they just compare stats and stuff).

Yes the legit version of the game requires you to be directly connected to the internet at all times in order to play because of the save files being stored on Ubisoft's servers. I can only assume that the cracked version redirects the server location to your computer instead so it is now stored locally thus not requiring an active internet connection.

Ditto. Also it's not really shocking for it to be worked around immediately. When they make a big deal about it and make such a hassle of course people are going to go out of their way to show them how dumb they're being.

DRM is fucking shit. Internet connection at all times? Fuck that. So many scenarios that could fuck up PC gamers. I'm glad people are cracking this. Ubisoft is fucking shit.

Internet at all time sounds kinda retarded.
I remember buying DJMAX Trilogy for PC just because it needs an USB device that stores your profile/savegame and comes with a game. Without it you can't even run update on the game, last time i checked ppl are still trying to crack that.
