If you plan on working on it, send me a message. This is a great game, and I would hate for it to get a bad rep from some schmuck who left it in that state. Of course, I know nothing of programming, but after enough ATLAS I've gotten a decent grasp on some basic Japanese and its nuances.

did you notice that we're currently discussing how bad the Translation is?

well for me it's not that bad, i already played kururi and amane route and i think it's not that bad. i mean it's better than i must playing it with looking atlas. for me the translation it's not that hard to understand. well that's my opinion and i don't know where's the problem

The problem is that we won't get a decent translation unless some guy with some will and a very kind soul pick this finished translation (when it finishs, of course.) and edit it to readable english, since no one else will pick it since it was already picked by /jp/.
Not that it matters too much for me, since english it's not my native language so some mispellings don't bug me that much, but there is a big ammount of guys here that probably will get annoyed with any minimal typo(and completely wrong sentences in this one).

yeah that's true, english isn't my native too so i still enjoy it, i don't really care about the misspelling at least i still understand it. btw when i look flyable heart in vndb, it says that flyable heart already have the full version english patch but it's still hold at /jp. wonder what happened?

CRAAAP!!! I just found out something that pissed me off...

My college subject is using the OS Windows 7, while I'm curently using XP... THEIR COMMAND LINES ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!! I CANNOT EDIT THE DAT FILE!!! AAARGH!!!

I've got no choice but to somehow get my hands on someone's PC and manage from there... This is a sort of a bummer for me since I won't be able to do beta testing on it... It'll be something like a gamble on time since I can't say if my plan will work or not...

If someone knows a thing or two with command prompt AND has Windows 7 for an OS, that would be awesome.

If you're willing to help, but don't know a thing with command prompt BUT has an OS of 7, I'll message you...

It doesn't say that, it says the patch is TBA = not yet released. On hold was because of a C&D letter being sent to the previous translator resulting for that translator to stop. Then one anon emerged from jp and saved the day, with a determination of steel to get this done no matter how many anons he faced! His motivations, however, is beyond my simple mind.

Well, great that you're able to read it and think it isn't bad, but I'm sure there are many aren't as kind.

Yea you'll have to upload from your computer to the internet first, you could use some image upload sites like imageshack.

Looks literal but isn't half bad, judging from only the screenies, what it needs is editing and probably, a tlc.

I can't access the retrans anyway, would have seen it for myself if I could.

It still sounds akward, like a bad actor reading unnecessarily deliberate lines. The fact that they couldn't even translate Amane (Sky Sound, or whatever) speaks volume about the effort and attention to detail they put in to the editing.

Hopefully, as long as there aren't glaring translation issues, it won't be too difficult to fix. Just get a couple guys with a decent command of the English language and nothing else going on in their lives and we can have a beautifl patch for a beautiful game.
