Video Game Release Dates
0
(First, this ins't about any certain video game release dates, its about release dates themselves)
Seeing as how we have so many AAA-Titles releasing recently, I think its time to make a 'Release Date' topic.
Do you have any problems with any release dates?
Do you wish for a limit on how many would come out per month?
Many games are released on Tuesday's and for me its no problem saving money from a paycheck, but many friends say that if games were out on saturdays or sundays, they'd be happier.

Tbh I don't tend to pre-order unless it's something I really really want to play or the extras they give are worth it.
Otherwise it's not hard to tuck a little money away ready for the pre-order date.

Most games people look forward to release, well, around this time, October-November range: Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, Skyrim, AC: Revelations, to name a few this year. It makes a good time to prepare it as a gift for Christmas, or to get now to play immediately, and brag about it to friends who are waiting for Christmas to play it.
That said, they could spread out the release dates more. It'd make it more convenient to me, spending 60 dollars about once every month or two, rather than hundreds of dollars within about a month for games I want.

Although, having all them (Skyrim, Battleifeld, Assassin's Creed, Halo and Saints Row) they are diffinitly worth the 60$,
even though 60x5 is $200+, and lets not talk about some stupid impusle buys we all have.

The hundreds of dollars is one of the two main reasons I don't like the time these games are released. Once again, since there are so many games releasing at one time, it'll cost a lot. Also, it makes the rest of the year kind of boring. Since there aren't nearly as many high-profile games releasing during spring or summer, I may be left with nothing to play if I have already become tired of the games I got during the holiday season, except maybe online games, but I don't like playing multiplayer ever since I realized how short my temper is after playing Call of Duty for a while.
