Simple answer thing:Rage = Button Mashing = Fighting Games
I actually do that when I'm pissed like hell while playing a fighting game and one time I found a combo for a certain game like that that I kept trying to perfect afterwards. But trying to perfect something you found randomly is hard so I raged over that as well when I kept failing...

Kind of Important
A ray of Tsunlight.
Yes. I do.
The rage carries over to other things I do in my spare time. Pool, bowling etc.
I dislike being bad at anything. So I strive to be perfect. Naturally that can't happen, so I'm in a bad mood a lot.

Virtual-On: Marz Ultimate Mode. Shit makes me rage so hard. Nothing says "Fuck you!" like having three enemy mechs rape your ass ... in waves ... But it's necessary to get the badass Temjin 747a8.This, word-for-word.
Otherwise, I usually rage when I fail repeatedly at something I know I can do. That, or when a PC game won't work for no good reason.

I rage on the fact that Fighting games these days have "Giant bosses" that is somehow made so fucking imbalanced to actually beat it... I want my "Skilled bosses" again..
Tekken 6 = Azazel, NANCY-MI847J
Melty Blood AA = Dust of Osiris, SO FUCKING IMBALANCED
others that I can't remember their name
-one of the Guilty Gear games
WHY BIG BOSSES?~~~
Do they think that regular sized bosses are "not-strong-enough" for us...
I still can't beat Epyon in a Gundam W game that I played in the SNES, not even one round, since it has amazing combo skills.
I can still respect the boss character if it beat me to a pulp with flawless combos, but beating me with just a flinch of a "giant" hand... RAGE

There are rage moments hidden everywhere, even if it's something stupid like clearing the 15th floor of a dungeon and dying, and then realizing you haven't saved your game since floor 2. It's a lesson you learn the hard way, but once you learn it, that particular rage is gone. Naturally, there are other little things, but few really come to mind. I think I got a tad irritated with FFX when I was trying to race a damn chocobo so my total time was less than zero. I got exactly zero once, which apparently didn't count. That was rage. I also got hit by lightning after dodging 99 fucking bolts once. Little rage there, too. Real rage though? True rage? I remember the first time I played Star Ocean 2, back in college... I had a great game going, my party was nearing level 200, I had released the limiter on the end boss, and I was a day or so away from finishing him, and the bonus dungeon off. Then my roommate 'accidentally' saved over my file.
Rage is a mild word to describe the moment someone tries to excuse something like that with a simple 'oops'. Just thinking about it...I better stop here...

F-Zero GX.REAL rage. RPGs are nothing compared to that.
You fell victim to the game's difficulty too?
Story mode: Normal - A few retries :3
Story mode: Hard - 50th time is the charm
Story mode: Very hard - ...You know what? Fuck it! ~Rages~ (Basically)

Play Marvel VS Capcom, have some serious RAGE.
As if the final boss's first form isn't ridiculous enough, they threw in a second one for good measure.
Makes me go FFFUUUUUUUUUUU every time I play that game.

Button mashers on fighting games get stomped on if they try me.Exactly button mashers don't have skill they just depend on luck if they press the right buttons to do a move. The easiest way to win against them is just walk back forcing them to come to you then you can kick their ass

Sometimes when the team is completely incompetent and it kills the fun in playing.
Otherwise it's great fun trolling 'pro' gamer 12 year olds.

Same goes when the enemy team consists of such dudes. No fun at all.

well, Onslaught was pretty easy if you spam Collosus or when you get Sentinel.
seriously, nash, go play Melty blood Actress Again, and try and beat "Dust of Osiris".... can't even get close enough to damage it more than half.

Three games that makes me rage:
1. Wii sports resort- Oooh Wii sports resort hurrayyy now poor people can enjoy the beach instead of spending a real holliday. Oh fuck off, I don't want to elaborate on the millions of reasons why I hated this game.
2. Resonance of Fate- although some may find this fun I totally found its gameplay really awkward or "hard" as other people may call it. There's a huge gulf between challenging and simply banging your head against a brickwall. The first one includes mind buggling puzzles and strategies while the later is just a way to get you sectioned. Sure you might feel a little sense of achievement if you manage to break the wall down but it's all the same since you would've lost all your other senses by then.
3. Final Fantasy 13- Surprised? While I find most of this game good I am greatly saddened on how short it is. After hours of suffocating linear story telling it finally threw me some pieces of freedom, like how a dog owner throw pieces of bread to its pet, it slams me on a dead end wall. Then buried my remains under the crystalized corpse of my two favourite party characters *spoiler alert*.

Beating a ridiculous boss by pulling cheaper moves than him is not the way I want to beat him... xD
I only beat him once, I played my usual combo, Captain Commando and Jin...
The final boss in MVC2 was A LOT easier imo.
Hmm gonna have a look at your recommendation.

I seem to get angry from time to time but I can never really remember the context. Except two shining moments.
#1: 2 or more Scions on Mass Effect 2 on Insane
Their shots go through cover, almost always kill you in one hit, and you usually have husks chasing you as well it's extremely annoying. You kind of have to run sideways while shooting husks, and then start shooting the scions while still running sideways, although somehow I still always end up dying.
#2: Gears of War: Yeah right, since when does the wind say "INnnnTRRrrrUUUddderrss"
GOD. DAMN. There's like this mining station or something and it's swarmed with these guys who shoot arrows that explode when they hit something. They hit their target instantly and you have like one second to jump out of the way. And there's like fifteen of them. Prime rage material IMO.
Also, too many Megaman moments to name.
