What do you think about them?

So, after some observation to other sites that has some VN discussion in their forums I have reach a simple conclusion:
this conclusion came from observing their reactions, opinions and ratings that are available on those sites. Most of them will place these ONLY Pure LOVE stories way below your "dramatic" VN stories.
for me this is quite Ironic, since they the "forefathers" of our now modern Vns that you all love, is getting forgotten.
for me,
This is kinda sad, because people don't appreciate them as much as in the Past.
well, I know that people will demand something more "juicy", "a twist" or "action-packed" stories, but the non-appreciation of these genres that needs to be focused.
one of the "extreme" example
"Do you like Horny Bunnies?"
by ZYX published by G-collections in The US
You all know that even though this is Heavily Sex-oriented, it's main core is still a Love story, but in one of the reviews that I have read, one of them gave it's story a 3/10 and value 0/10, while some of the lesser love stories gets scores higher than 5/10
Do you think that this is fair even for an opinion?
I don't know about how he came up with that score, but it's surely biased.

"VNs that ONLY have PURE Love stories are underrated now"

I love everything that involves love in it (Well yea, basically i'm saying i love all VNs xD) but VNs that are focused only on love stories, i do try to dodge them. Why? I get easily BORED. Take Narcissu for instance, i never finished this game.

I do find mystery/adventure/etc. more exciting than Love VN's, but I do enjoy love stories. In fact, they make a very nice break from all that stuff.
It's often very heartwarming, especially in contrast to all the drama of other VN's or the gloominess of the world.
It's kind of sad actually that less people appreciate these kind of VN's.
Or maybe I just have a sappy romantic streak to me.

I definitely support pure romantic VN. We have too little of them nowadays. It'd be even better if the writer doesn't really think that much about those "moe" factors and just focus on writing a good romance.
And tbh I don't really support the action/romance thing. Sometimes the romance element feels plain forced into the story. Take UBW, I don't really think Rin's existence in the route matters at all, if not for the obligatory sex. Making the story less awesome, even.

Like you said, UBW's romance might look forced into it but I don't think it's the case with Fate in which romance made this route the saddest of all 3.

I guess people just feel like the stories need some drama to really feel like you've accomplished something. Not that this would be bad, but it's also becoming rather predictable these days. I'd really love to see more pure love stories too. I'm sure they can be done exactly as well as the usual "action-packed" stories, and no matter how good a story might be with its twists, wouldn't we all (or at least most of us) actually prefer a pure and non-dramatic love in our real lives.

I appretiate them but I don't love them much.I do VN's for the comedy, but if its Comedy and Romance is even better.

I enjoy love VN's, but I love comedy-romance VN's even more~ Take Katawa Shoujo, for instance (incomplete though it may be). Full of laughs, but the last day for each girl (so far) is very sweet.

Since it'll have multiple acts, though, it's normal to assume there will be some drama along the way as well.
And while I'm on the topic of drama, I thought of something to add to my previous post. Which is what I don't like about a lot of the stories with a twist. Probably too well on my mind since I'm currently going through Shuffle!. As I said, the drama is usually there to give the story "more meaning". I think it's rather meaningless to do it in the way it's done in this and some other cases, though - where it all happens after you've made your choices and you actually do not decide anything at the crucial point of the story. There is no sense of accomplishment in overcoming the problems in your relationship when it all happens without your input.

Pure love stories are a must. Never forget your roots I always say. It's nice to have a little bit of action or some sort of twist here and there, but nothing beats a pure love story. I haven't read any pure love stories in a while, which is a damn shame really. I think the last pure love story I read was probably Kaede's route in SHUFFLE! It had some drama in it, so I can't say it was a pure love story though... :/
I think the reason why it's underrated is cause some people can't sit and read through a pure love scenario without getting bored.
Narcissu was a really well done VN. It's actually one of the very few that I enjoyed even if there wasn't much going on besides them traveling to a certain destination.

Pure Love is the most fundamental aspect of a VN...what is the fun in playing a game like machi gurumi no wana??? Where you got raped everywhere anywhere at anytime till you become a mindbreaked whore.
Pure Love usually gives more story and sometimes it is a bit boring, but mostly it's more fun...

I honestly don't understand what you're asking here. Do you mean a romance story which completely lacks any appeal beyond the core romance? If so, I think that's not a particularly compelling premise. Even stories that lack action, adventure or comedy still have some kind of dramatic intrigue such as "coming of age" or an emotional hurdle which one companion helps the other through.
For example, one of the purest love stories I've ever read is a short story called "Stained Glass Heart" by Catherine Asaro, is about a very young couple eloping. While it's extremely lovey dovey, it's still more than just romance, as a whole lot of the prose is dedicated to the logistics of a pair of 14 year olds running away from home.

like example
-To Heart 2
-Heart de Roomate
-Horny Bunnies
etc etc
Are they still enjoyable and can still look good compared with other VNs that is full with action, tragic drama plot twists etc..etc..?

I prefer pure love story VNs compared to VNs that is only concentrated on sex; liking pure love story VNs compared to other themed VNs depends on each individual.
I do see how your point of pure love VNs being under appreciated.

When you put it like the its still ok.Its just like anime genre "slice of life" or something.Normal thing happening to a normal person is prettry much appreciated on occasions. You can related sometimes aswell even though its fiction.

I find those to be utterly boring to the point I wouldn't even play those.
I need an interesting plot to tickle my fancy (like Saya no Uta, for example), the whole lovey-dovey stuff just ain't for me.

Well, I just recently finished Bazooka Cafe, which I guess fits your "pure love" criteria, and while it was generally enjoyable, it was entirely forgettable.
And honestly, I think that's the real crux of the issue for me. In order for any kind of fiction to have lasting impact, it needs to have some kind feature that makes it distinctive. It feels as if what you're asking is, "With the lack of any particularly distinguishing features, can a romance VN still be enjoyable?" My answer then would be that they can be entertaining in the moment, but I probably wouldn't want to spend any money on it.

Hmm... I can see your point, but I believe a VN could be both "pure love" and have distinguishing features, just that these features don't have to include unnecessary story twists. Let's see... I pointed out earlier that due to the multi-act structure, the final release of Katawa Shoujo will most likely not quite fit the "pure love" criteria, but Act 1 by itself works as a good example of what I mean. The characters themselves can be what makes the VN distinctive, even without an action-filled story.

Unless I am misunderstanding, I would argue that even within act 1, Katawa Shoujo is not "pure love". First, it's a comedy. It might not be non-stop laughs, but the writers definitely went out of their way to insert jokes and comedic tension. Second, the premise is gimmicky and relies upon larger than life character archetypes.
Both of these things are good qualities to have in fiction, as it is what makes stories interesting to read, but I they're probably detracting from the "purity" of the romance.
