VNs with sad endings

I gave it some thought at that point of the game because I had a feeling the game would end there if I chickened out. So, I saved.

The great thing about the game is that it shows the messed up world he sees so often, the player finds the atmosphere a bit mundane after awhile. You'll notice the main character doesn't care as much either after a point. When you pass that point of the game in the game, it gets a bit more intense. Not in the way of blood and gore, but in the way of sickening lack of human morals.

Rape, murder, torture, enslavement and so forth. I mentioned this before in another post, but the rape scene with the friend Yo Tsukuba was a bit over the line. It's almost showing the equivalent of drugging someone and raping them while they are fully aware but unable to do anything.

After that point I felt no compassion for Saya nor the protagonist you're playing, Fuminori. The whole "Love triumphs all" theme they were trying to push was crushed by my disgust at those characters.
