I have a feeling that the playable races will pan out similar to how they did in Age of Reckoning, just without the dwarves. Something like:
(Good) Imperium/Space Marines/Eldar
(Bad) Orks/Chaos/Dark Eldar
Necrons are slow, mindless, and devoid of character so they probably won't make the cut.
Tyranids all follow a hive mentally so you can't really give them the freewill or independence necessary for them to be playable.
Tau, although they have potential, aren't as crucial a role as Eldar.
But they may lob Space Marines, Imperium, and maybe even the Inquisition all into one race; thus leaving a slot open for Tau.
So, you never know.

Playing Tau would be cool.. driving Hammerheads around the battlefield would be awesome!

But they better scale it to actual height. I don't care if it has to be going on off in the distance, I just want to see a Titan rampaging across the battlefield.

That would mean they would have to scale the worlds as the size of a real world.

but still Space Marines rock BIG! from bolters to the meltaguns, men clad in super armor. though they have no super unit such as the Ork Squiggoth, Eldar Avatar of Khaine (my fave), Chaos Bloodthirster, Sisters of Battle Living saint, and many more....

Orkz are able to loot anything because they are latent psykers. As long as it has a shape of a gun,has bullets and they believe its a gun, they can fire it.Like how they think red ones go faster,it does go faster.
Space marines are akin to the spec ops of the future.Thats why they have no super unit.
The inqusition deals with the bulk of the imperium problems.
For daemon problems they got the ordo malleus.Witch problems ordo heriticus and alien problems ordo xenos.Only the ordo xenos are ever allowed to use alien weaponary
Getting a titan to even work on the field requires permission from the tech priests of mars which chances are, they wont allow you to play with their toys.

Wait... So thats why their only weapon that can deal a pounding is the Orbital Bombardment?
Though the Space Marines are similar to the Eldar when in terms of mobility, as the Eldar it is "If there's a webway gate, we'll be there right away" and the Marines are "Anywhere, Anytime" policy of mobility, since all of their resources are sent DOWN...
As for the techpriests in Mars? Heh... Nothing like asking the god-emperor for that, now?

they got a few other planet cracking weapons that i cant recall their names.
Space marines too can use eldar webways, just that they think its filthy xenos tech so they avoid it.
Depending on which space marine chapter you are talking bout, they respond to mobility differently.Like white scars use bikes and land speeders extensively, raven wings have a stealth jump team while iron hands are rather defensive and go slowly
Techpriest will go ape-shit crazy if you scratch their toys lol.

As for the planet cracking ability, just look at my name...also i believe one is called the Life Eater virus which literally melt anything biological in the planets eco system to a putrid blob of bio waste and an atmosphere worth of explosive fuem which they then fire a lance of torpedo or something which then turn the entire planet into one big bonfire, VERY nasty way to die.
Also, the techpriest don't really worship the God emperor but a different deity called the Omnissiah, which, spoiler alert! is a Ctan in stasis. And yes they go ape-shit Apocalypse Now style crazy when you scratch their toys...
BTW, apparently, Orks loot carnifexes too....

The crews of a titan are specially trained for them.. (such as any super based thing the Imperium has)

well its still not known if its even the void dragon there. The only telling similarity is a deity that controls machines.
Orkz get the shokk attack gun too.A portal gun that fires small creatures.Would be awesome to use.

In the Horus Heresy book Mechanicum, they refer to the "god" as the dragon, and who other creature that controls machines and feeds on the happiness of innocents?
speaking of Ctan, wouldnt it be intersting for a rogue faction of the Mechanicus as a "evil" Necron cult or something with fobidden tech.
0
lol i heard of a genestealer cult but not of a necron cult. The mechanicus would have trouble learning necron tech as its like magic
Necrons are hardly evil.
They are just souls stuck in machines being driven to collect souls for ctan to nom nom nom on.

Uh Necrons do NOT have souls in those things... Whats more fearsome sight to behold in a battlefield is an army that knows not death in its span of life... Now i know you dont want an enemy you cant kill... True that you can kill them TODAY, but they'll keep coming back and back until you are gone....
0
meh i assume they got souls in em since they were once alive but tricked to be necrons.
Necrons arent the imperium's threat yet since only a bunch are slowly waking up.

The Necrons themselves aint evil, cept maybe the lords but the Cta is definatley evil, especially the Deceiver.

Well, Necrons have a degree of free will, but present only in Necron Lords..
Its to make them more of an efficient leaders and according to Necron Codex from 3rd or 4th edition i forgot which one, was person of great self willpower to keep a shred of themselves alive which is why they're far more customized than a standard necron unit.
As for Tyranids, there have been instances of Tyranid organisms operating with free will however animal behaviors and instincts takes precedence without the brain controlling the organism.
A cut off group of tyranids on has evolved , and bunch of them are found on death worlds, I'll refer to one well known death world, Catachan or was it Catahan?
As well for Individual units, there has been few units, like Old one Eye.
And, units like Lictors which operate independantly and ahead of swarm, finding good places for the brood to attack enmasse.
