Scout Marines carry sniper rifles... Ya know, im starting to wonder why terminator squads dont carry the bolter rifle but instead use a bolter SMG/pistol(?) coz their left hands are equipped with the power fist...Actually, the storm bolter is lke a light machine gun version of the bolter and its like two bolters strap in one. Ratlings belong in the imperial guard btw and if you find outside Dawn of War video game, theres like freakin bucket loads of new units and equipment in the tabletop.

Nice... What was the name of the Adeptus Sororitas heavy infantry? Since their hero is the Canoness and the basic infantry are battle sisters equiped with (HOLY SHIT!) flamethrowers?

and being nitpicky bolters != smg or rifle, just say bolter.

Simply put, the Sisters of Battle are pyromaniacs (like the crews of the Hellhounds), the difference of them and Hellhound crews is that the Sisters of Battle are technically walking tanks.

cept that theyre pretty weak compared with SM, i wonder if GW has some sort of inferiority complex with woman not able to become an SM?

You don't get it.. it is the Sisters of Battle of belief to die in honor or something, that is why they opt for weaker armor. But of course, they are still a challenge.

and they deploy RAPIDLY than SMs... When i confront S.o.B's in battle, i really hate their way of being able to build forward bases... It gives me a hard time...
I feel bad for the Blood Ravens of the SM's though... The records of their origin are gone and they dont know their own primarch....

Spoiler:
Think the Blood Ravens is a splinter group from the Thousand Sons chaos legion which split off during the Horus Heresy. Their armour colour, chapter icon and psycic levels fit the pre-heresy thousand sons. thair primarch would be Magnus the Red.
0
Their records only show from the time of a civil war when the Imperium had troubled times... since the libraries were destroyed in the infighting... Also, if they were a splinter group, then why did the Imperium honor them as a single division like the rest of the old races? The Thousand Sons before their fall had shitloads of psykers in their ranks that were either trained to be Gray Knights or become Librarians... Also amiss is that the Thousand Sons had a slightly different banner design and their color is gore red while the Blood Ravens were rusty red

grey knights are drawn from black ships where they collect various psykers, not from a space marine chapter.
They were honored as they were something like a post heresy chapter and GW said so
Sisters of battle are weaker because they dont have the bio-engineering implants in them such as black carapace,a second heart etc.

We'll have to see how the gameplay goes. If it's like WAR, things are going to get ugly. That game as beyond boring.
If they focus much more on the PvE content, i think the W40K has some of the best lore to create a great game with PvE content. Many of the said race could be that content. Too many games have been focusing on '' PVP PVP PVP''. We need to go back to roots and work on a huge and strong PvE content, lvling curve, etc.
Gameplay is what i'm mostly interrested in. Is it going to be like most mmo's. Keybinds or like a 3rd person, Gears style. With some brutal kills that could make your opposing players / npc lose a few limbs. What i think made this series popular is all those awesome finishing moves your units could make (specially your hero). If you can't do those, I won't even try the game.

Playing the recent borderlands game,i am convinced it can be done provided PVP isnt the main core,Co-op is.If not, everyone will be a certain race as their skill is more pvp dominant as opposed to choosing what you want.
They could do an all out war scenario though for mass pvp every like end of the month.Insane lag lol

borderland was awesome. Gave out an awesome mmo feel while giving out a good grind, questing situation. Playing through lvl 50 with 3 friends was awesome. It was too short, but I can imagen so much things can be created for an MMO.
I have these huge concept that would work well for a tps or fps mmo end-game bosses.

The problem is that 40k has a BIG universe, they just make it up as they go along really. they should concentrate on a single system or setor and if things go well like sales and reviews, release an expansion like a chaos warpstorm comin in, necron tomb world suddenly poppin up or a space hulk drifts in system. They all ca make a good pvp scenario like a rival clan/faction fighting for some long forgotten relic or sumthin, then vs a final boss like a greater daemon or Ctan.

While theres no occult in Star Wars, W40k has... To the extent of eldritch powers and god capabilities... The architecture is also different.... As W40k has boxy and large Gothic Technology, SW has simplicity in its architectures..

SW has a single enemy, the Droids... But w40k has given foes such as the very hi-tech Tau, the deathless Necrons, the ever numerous Tyranids (I FUCKING HATE THEM!!!)... The Dark Eldar and Eldar are neutral, i think... Also true in SW is the numerous planets and galaxies while in w40k wars are mostly based IN the planet... No battles were fought in space...
@shotgunorg: oh but there is... In DoW II, the Blood Ravens try to stop Tyranid infestation in their claimed planets... I also read somewhere that some of the chapters also had to control the world their primarch has set...
Also in SW, only very FEW are melee units... Included of them are some droids (Grievous' bodyguard) and the Jedi and Sith (i didnt see any one of them carry a laser rifle).... Whilst in w40k... Almost ALL units are equipped for melee...
Also i noted that in the SW universe the wars are fought by firefights and no melee items... But in w40k no buildings are in the battlefield, just the pockmarks and open spaces... Also, they fight HEAD ON...
