They already knew this was gonna be their last game while making it. Lots of ppl say that lost motivation and just half-assed it

well the blood ravens are a unique chapter because they dont have their origin records and they dont even know their own primarch... some refer to them as the Legendary Chapter.... Also amassed in them is the abnormally high level of psykers in their ranks... As well as their gene seed has only the flaw of them having perfect recall.... now i know why they mean of knowledge is power, guard it well quote...

As I learned more of the 40K lore, I realized how little the games covered. Now that I've read of him, I badly want to tear enemies apart with the Tyrant's Claw of Huron Blackheart. So long as this game isn't filled with ridiculous claims that your one soldier is ending the massive conflict (I refer, of course, to WoW, where mystically you kill off deity-like Heroes that have slaughtered entire armies supposedly composed of guys like you) I don't think the game will fail all that hard.

though i cant understand why the bloodthirster loses a life point everytime its not participating in combat....

I'd prefer a Hellgun and Stealthed Stormtrooper armor.

Oh and throw in a bunch of Krak grenades, those should make a pretty light shows.

The Blod God Khorne demands blod from both his enemies and his followers and is seriosuly pissed whenever non of hi followers are in combat. In 40k fluff, whenever some of his berzerkers are close to death, their chainaxes would sometimes chop their own heads off to satisfy their god.

Khorne does not mater where the blood flows from. It only matter that it flows....

I didnt think they'd be able to pull it off, but it looks like our prayers have been answered, thanks the emporer.

I suspect they are glass cannons if they are player aquire-able. One lascannon blast and poof no more hammer head lol.

Bad news, it looks like its now a single-player game rather than a full fledged MMORPG. Blame THQ's poor management decisions for that. On the bright side, at least they're still making it rather than fully cancelling it as was expected.

So you can only play as Astartes, or can you play as the different factions?

Too early to tell, but it definite there would be marines or Imperial. Ya know, rereading Inquisitor novels really makes me thing they should focus it on Dark Heresy instead of general 40k.

But doing that would lock the game in a definite event, developers would have a hard time releasing updates that would be canonically correct to the original plot. The game would most likely be after the horus heresy when mankind has to face the terrors of the universe and the forces of chaos without the guidance of The Emperor.

Buuuut, I'll rather have a living and breathing Emperor giving me quests and shit. I want to be a librarian soooo bad.

I first heard about a Warhammer 40k MMO in 2006 and have been waited to play it ever since.

Then I heard that it was just going to be a single player game.

I am now pissed off.
