Download the demo, it's basically what you'll be doing the entire game. I'd wait for a massive price drop before buying it. Or just rent it.

I saw the gameplay, I think this game sucks ass (compared to other shit I've seen). The slow-mo is so noticeably fake too, so it turns me off. I mean, just look at this:
She shoots way too fast with pistols in slow mo, So I'm guessing she's shooting at a demonic rate like Dante in normal mo. Meh, I'll definitely wait for a price drop before getting it, as I love very violent games.

can't say I am even remotely interested in a John woo meets devil may Cry game... seems lamer than either.

@tsujoi yeah it is notably repetitive (not to mention i beat easy mode in day and there are no real bosses) but i actaully ended up getting the game for free

I was so excited for this game when the first trailer was released. Man, what a let down.

I just feels like another game I already have. If only they had better/interesting characters that I would want to play through the game with.

I wish the dev team for the game had another year to polish the actual gameplay. I'm Ok with the style and presentation (since I love homages to B movies a la Quentin Tarantino style)
95% if the game you will be jumping, wall-running or sliding just to be able to kill effectively because if you try to just shoot normally Rubi will only use one gun. The part that really turned me off was how headshots just don't register so you'll have to shot each bad guy at least 3-5 times.
In short, I'm glad I tried the demo on this one because I wouldn't even rent it =\
