What Game Should I Buy Next?
0
In a couple weeks I'll have finished my last overdue essay and be on holiday for awhile. To celebrate I'm going to go to the game store and get myself a game. Question is what game should I get? I haven't been keeping up with game reviews for awhile and I don't trust IGN anymore so what do you guys think?
Which game do you think I should buy when I go on holiday and why?
Edit: I should have mentioned that I'm just looking for PS3 games. I'm sick of my PC and I don't have a 360.

Of new games my 2 favorites that I plan on getting are Lollypop Chainsaw and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

What genre of games are you into?Pretty much all of them except for racing and sports games. Also it needs to be a good singleplayer game. I'm always terrible at multiplayer.

Folk Lore(RPG)
Resonance of Fate(action RPG, kinda similar to Parasite Eve, if you've played that)
Just Cause 2(Open world TPS)
Catherine(puzzle/VN)(Gets pretty damn difficult)
Shadows of The Damned(Over the shoulder shooter)
Valkyria Chronicles(strategy rpg)
The Saboteur(kinda like Assassins Creed with guns)
Infamous(open world beat 'em up(?)/ rpg)
Demon's/Dark Souls(aRPG(ridiculously difficult))
Nier(aRPG, kinda open-world)
Hope at least one of those is helpful to you.

Hyperdimension Neptunia and its sequel. However, I would advise staying away from the first game if you decide to get the sequel before the original. It takes place in a different universe and has a different combat system, but I generally consider the original to be generally inferior to the sequel. The combat system is also a lot slower and slightly more complicated.

Then I recommend Batman: Arkham Asylum & Batman: Arkham City. There both very great games. But you may as well wait for the GOTYE instead of buying the older version of Arkam City.
Dark Souls would give you a run for your money it's my most played game just mentioning it right now makes me want to whip it out. Though a lot of people say it's a game that will make you rage but I never really understood why people rage it's just a game. It's a large world environment made to feel larger by the time fighting while traveling. You use blunt/bladed weaponry, staffs, archery, spells, explosives to fight and plenty of customization. It's not all that story driving it's more about game play but it makes up for it it adds to the mystery.
