What is the best H- game you have played?

Last ones that i looked at were Fate/Stay Night and Sengoku Rance.

And don't get me wrong Rance is a great game but, not very interesting to me storywise.

Fate was just too boring.

In fact i haven't played any VNs since Fate simply because of 2 reasons

1) No time to look for ones which are in english
2) VNs are just not appealing to me like hRPGs are. *And there are like close to none good hRPGs which are translated*

No offence to anyone dedicated.

If you like H-RPGs try out Kamidori Alchemy Meister. I was pretty addicted to this for while. It's more or less a tactics game. The gameplay is pretty much like Fire Emblem.

Uh... I frequent there to check for VN updates, but I never did register an account there...

Let's see. I'm going to download the Muv Luv series once I get back home so that's one thing to anticipate, but I need materials enough to last for at least two months. That translates to six good VNs. Only PC; I do not have a console unfortunately.

The storyline must be good. No need to be Clannad epic, but it cannot be something like 90% eroge. I don't even mind that it's Romance as long as the storyline is something new and readable; Your Diary is an example. So, Fantasy, Science Fiction, anything out of the ordinary is my preferred genre. The weirder and more morally questionable the better ^_^.

Also, VNs with gameplay. I don't mind any type of gameplay, though not something like '戦極姫3' that's 90% gameplay, 10% story and horrible art.

Lastly, amorim is right. I can read Japanese VNs just fine, no problem.

Seeing as you probably are already a veteran on VNs you shouldn't deserve to live if you still didn't read Higurashi or Umineko =P

Except Kitto (Just uninstalled it recently, even though it has a rather interesting theme the execution was very badly done with excessive amounts of Tsukomi), but yeah. Hello, World seems a bit too old, but I have the time anyway.

And Umineko... Higurashi... *looks left right* if I tell you that I had meant to read it since a long time ago, but was rather put off by the graphics, will you not kill me...? *ROUND SHIELDS*

┻━┻ ︵ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ︵ ┻━┻ on you since you still didn't Higurashi and Umineko =P Great mindfucks (and I do mean really great that you're going to o_O ) and enjoyment guaranteed. And that OST is so good to set the atmosphere.

Higurashi has a tweak available to use the PS2 graphics that makes the game have a MUCH better art (at least in the version released by Mangagamer). I read it with it (since the art also bothered me a little) and I'm not even close to being disappointed. In fact, from the 99 VNs I played so far, Higurashi is on my top 10.
I'm not sure if there is a tweak available to the japanese version but it's a just a matter of searching a bit to be sure.

Umineko has a tweak that is in progress and should still take some time to be completed but it's totally worth reading it even with the art as it is. The game is so awesome so you should forget the art or get used to it ^_^ I still remember some goosebumps I had because of my excitement when reading Umineko. That's one of the things I like in Ryukishi07 works.

Erm, do you have a working torrent for them then? I found one that's supposed to be MangaGamer's English release which claims to have all 4 arcs, but the size is only 1GB. Is that correct?

EDIT: Eh never mind, I'll just use the direct downloads at eroge downloads.

EDIT 2: I DO need either a working torrent or at least 200MB direct download links to the Muv Luv series (500MB would be even better). Any ideas?

Higurashi (the version released by Mangagamer) was uploaded by me and it's already with the PS2 tweak incorporated. And yeah, if you compress the games you're probably going to see that even with all arcs together, their size is under 1GB. Then again, the version that you found prabably does not have the tweak. Been playing Artificial Academy lately and I'm going through tissues like crazy.

Now im still kind of new to Visual Novels and Eroges I've only played like 10 of them. But right now this is what I got
Best Eroge/Nukige = Gang Rape Club
Best Romance = Edelweiss
I would also like to mention Saya no Uta. That game was fucking crazy. Crazy epic

Tsukihime all the way, liked it even more than Fate/Stay Night.

Have to add Bishoujo Mangekyou (although it's nukige), Dramatical Murder and Saya no Uta.

Nocturnal Illusions. Mystery and Sex, and a damn mermaid. It was a blast to play, though the map navigation is my only complaint.
