What Is The Best Weapon to Be Used In Monster Hunter?

What type of weapon do you preferred to be used on Monster Hunter?What type of weapon is the best to kill hard ass bosses like Wyverns and Elder Dragons?Such as the Strong Tigrex and the Great Kushala Daora?

I use dual blade, but I only have Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite for PSP

Best = The one that is the most comfortable to use for yourself.

I use Long Swords.

usually i used Great sword and Long sword but since Monhan 3rd P,i'm using Gunlance for solid defense and massive power.

Great sword... Its not the best actually, but it is the coolest, And for me, its all about style :D Also hoping Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver. would come to EU :P

Like Kaimax said, it's one that you feel more comfortable with.

For me, I'm versatile with Sword and Shield, Long Sword, Switch Axe, Lance, and Hammers.

if im soloing any blade weapon mostly Gunlance long rounds

group hunting i go Hunting horn activating high grade earplugs is very convent for the team as is knock over the monster from head trauma

I got used to Long Sword faster than I did for the others, and can use it for more situations than the others. So, there.

I use Sword and shield since I rather have a balanced outcome

My best are SnS and dual blades. Or if I feel like cheating a bit, auto-guard gunlance, but I'm still not all that comfortable with it.

I prefer to use the long sword or hammer depending on what I'm trying to do.

Side Note: Only monster hunter game I've played is Monster Hunter Freedom 2 for the psp.

For me: GreatSword for style, Hammer for entertainment and Lance for Comfort.

I find bows just make the game far too easy. Bows that use pierce for the higher charges are extremely strong if you aim it down the length of the monster, you can usually get several staggers in a row after a certain number of shots due to each arrow hitting multiple spots.I'm personally trying to use the switch axe right now because its unsheathe attack can easily chain into a few more hits.

I prefer using dual blade's,the same with applesauce,to me its best to wyverns and elder dragons.I killed Tigrex and Kushala Daora with the dual blades,im used to it.My second best weapon is the SnS even if it was lack of power it's a basic weapon so it's easy to use,I use SnS to beat Rathian. ^^

I'm a bow user. I prefer support at a distance, but up against something like a Tigrex it be a long-sword. In a nutshell range is all I need.
