What language do you play on a visual novel?
I'm curious to see all of your answers.

About the poll, I apologize for having the japanese and english language having their own poll, while the other languages having been in the other poll (japanese language is used primarily on every VN I have seen, and english since people in this website speak english).

English unless it's a short vn or flash game then I would rush through it in japanese.

English because it's the only way I can enjoy them properly.

Let's see, VNs that are english or portuguese related are a go for me.

English always be my first priority,but if the game is too short and it's about guro and/or yuri the language doesn't matter anymore.

English is preferable, but if the company is too awesome i will play it before translation with agth+atlas unless it uses goddam japanese like the Chaos;Head does

I play my visual novels in english, there aren't really much vns in my native language out there.

I limited to English and Chinese, but once Rewrite falls into my hands I'm going for Japanese.

Goes a lot faster in english, wish japan would stop using kanji. Thank god for kanji--> hiragana websites

For me the Universal language changed from Latin to English so ENGLISH!

I use English but I'm learning Hirigana right now so I hope to use Japanese soon

I'm preferring to use English whenever it available. But Japanese is more than welcome too if I can't hold my desire to play certain VN titles. Other languages such as German, Indonesian, and Russian would be my last resort.

Mostly Japanese since my favourite VNs (including story, art n H scene)are all in Japanese
Luckily I can read most of the kanji
I only have 4 VNs in English : Da Capo, Katawa Shoujo, Tears to Tiara and I forgot

i prefer English... as i don't know how to read Japanese yet lol im planning to go to Japan in a few years to study their language, playing eroge is one of the reason for studying it lol
