Being a sole ps3 player, im going for ps3 version if possible. It wouldldnt make any sense from Atlus to suddenly change it to Xbox, seein they made the other SMT games for the ps1, and ps2.

Maybe theyre gonna do X+PS, but i can hardly see a single Xbox version out there.

Pretty much this. I always like to see games being brought out as multiplatform though.

Its more than likely going to be Persona 5 which will be on ps3. probably not 360 but then again Catherine was on both.

PS3 because it's the sole console I can relax playing on. I'm always edgy on my 360 because i worry it's gonna die, my eyes snivel out in protest in the 3ds and my pride doesn't allow me to flail around to use the wii.

Persona 5 would either be on the ps3 or the vita. Of course there not alot of rpgs on the 360, Mostly developers think it'll bomb if it was also on the 360. Which reminds me to save up some cash to buy a ps3..

I think they should do both

if it's a Persona game, i would rather see it onLIVE. If it's SMT 5.....PS3 obviously.

I'm tired of correcting all of you people, Persona is not SMT it's Megami Ibunroku. Don't put that awful date-sim in the same category as SMT

We're Fakkuza. Liking "date-sims" is kind of a prerequisite. Either way, don't go bashing the newer games like just because YOU didn't like. If possible, at least say it was YOUR opinion.

OT: I obviously want the next SMT on the PS3, seeing as I own one. Plus, most of their games have been on Sony's systems anyway.

What I would REALLY like to see, though, is Person 5 released as a PS3 exclusive, a new Digital Devil Saga on the 360 (don't know why, I just feel it fits the console more), and a true Shin Megami Tensei sequel to Nocturne (or Strange Journey, your call :P) on both the PS3 and 360.

I don't mind AS LONG as there isn't any SMT game on a home Nintendo console. Neither the Wii nor the Wii U deserves a hardcore series like this.

I have no objections against date-sims as long as they don't touch one of my favorite video game series,which they did with Persona 3.

So, I take it you're not a fan of P3 or 4, huh?

Why does it matter? Just have it on both so more people can enjoy it.

Personally, since I only have a psp (and a ps2 but no one makes games for that now), I would chose the psp. But then again PSP doesn't really qualify as a console...

The cost for development would be horrendous though, or like Final Fantasy 13 they'd cut down on cost by chipping off important elements of the game and sell something barely likable. So unless developers can keep high quality as they go to multiplatform I think they should make good use of their budget and improve on game elements instead of jumping platforms.

its not just the cost, its the system limitations too, they had to cut out a shit ton of stuff out of FFXIII to compensate for the DVD space in 360 (and its still on 3DVDs)

so depending on how much content or how many "beautiful graphics" they intend to put in, they need to have a much better plan on what console they wish to develop on.
