Which old games would you like to see remade?

Something I was discussing once...which of the old games would you like to see remade? What would you change in them, if anything? Personally, one thing I would really want see is Ace Combat 3. That game deserves more than it got, especially on subject of butchered American/European version. I would love to see that game with modern graphics, but more with the kind of planes that they employed there (the futuristic models of today's planes like the upgraded Raptor or Su-37 Super Flanker as well as those futuristic designs like Geophelia and Night Raven) and the ability to influence the story line, just as it was possible in original AC3 released in Japan. I would also like to see Armored Core 3 with the kind of controls which didn't require four hands from me. It was perfect in terms climate of Layered, and mechs didn't feel as ridiculously overpowered as they did in more recent Armored Cores. With exception of heat. Don't want it. Really don't want it back. And that most weapons would have definite names, not a string of numbers/letters. Now, ladies and gentlemen, what about you?

Narc should totally be remade for the next gen consoles since it was so bad ass as an arcade game.

Lufia is my 2nd favorite RPG, next to Persona. I've been waiting for them to remake it, but I don't think they ever will. T-T

I never could play Actraiser cause it was to damn hard for me. I'm not good at platformers, but I grew up a little with the game, so seeing a remake would be nice.

Actually, there's a freeware game called Plasma Pong, which is an amped version of Pong. You may wont to check it out, even if you were joking.

What I want to see is for Irem to continue the R-Type series. R-Type final was awesome, but it left me hungry for more. I also want to see the old Final Fantasy to come back. I don't like the futuristic look the new Final Fantasy has, I like how it was back in IV when it was still swords and dragons and all that cheesy crap.

I think they already did a remake:
Blaster Master: Overdrive

As much as one wants FFVII; I've read somewhere that it would take more than five years (time it took to do FFXIII) to do a FFVII remake, from Square-Enix themselves.

Megaman Legends would be nice to see again (when Capcom doesn't drop it again) as well as other titles.

Now one that would be interesting to see is an Ice Climbers remake

Harvest mOON back to nature :D I love the dating sim element of it and all the upgrades. Wish they could improve on that with improved graphics now too.
