Seriously, he (or she, if you play female Shepard) goes on to save galaxy twice, killed a member of most advanced, nearly deathless and most powerful civilizations in known universe, exterminated an army of slaves, united a band of some of galaxy's most dangerous and best individuals, was killed - and all it did was to make him more angry.
I'd say that should garner some respect, you know?
