Wii U vs PS3 (RPG)

Hey guys,

I lost a few pounds (I'm talking bout money) recently and I realize I can only get 1 console now and I'm stuck between Wii U and PS3.

So in your opinion between the 2 console which one has more RPG (Quality and Quantity)?

P.S I'm talking about general RPG so both western type to japanese import rpg games.

Which console has "more" of your favorite Genre?
For now, WiiU is still new, so it lacks games, but the PS3 is already old and has a massive amount of games.
Don't buy a console just for the sake of owning that console, if you don't have the money to splurge.

Pro-tip, Atlus is thinking to release the next Persona for the Ps3.

Personally, I cannot wait for the WiiU, I'm a nintendo fanboy... But if you love RPGs I'd go with the PS3.

The PS3 has a lot more RPG's And fighting games.

The PS3 for sure, lots of wonderful RPG games, the WiiU being really new doesn't have a big selection yet. I also can't wait to get the WiiU though.

Obviously Wii U can't have much yet at this time. The Wii U controller should be a dream for RPG developers, though, especially in the west, so I'm certainly hoping to see it get more of those in the future.

I don't understand the fascination with the wii outside i can play all the old roms on it.

The PS3 already has alot of great RPG's and JRPG's, The WiiU unreleased with average launch games behind it.
And it seems that RPG's work best on PS3, if you want RPG's go with PS3.

The Wii Nii isn't released in the States (somewhat ironically the first area to see it released) so there aren't any RPGs out for it. The PlayStation 3, on the other hand, is already released and has plenty of RPGs. It wins by default, really.
