FFXIV They had too many flaws to the game and it is difficult to play without rageing. Also the huge conspiracy to change the chocobos name before the game came out really pissed me off. You don't mess with the greatness of the past.

That said, FF12 is still worse by far. Why bother having a completely automated battle system but not have waypoints or something to automate movement through those bland environments? Exploring said boring environments weren't rewarding at all. Turning off the battle automation isn't an option since that would just make things even slower and more boring. The plot amounted to "You shouldn't desire power, but we will let you do what you want anywa- Oh look, a flying fortress!"

Let's see, I think that II is annoying in the way you have to 'build' your attributes, gimme good old fashioned leveling up/grinding. Otherwise I think it's a fair game. The real stinkers of the franchise are as follows:
1. X-2: No, just no.
2. Online bullshit. (XI etc.)
The others fluctuate in terms of quality and enjoyability, but those are the ones I cannot stand. My personal favourite is and will continue to be VI, however, I am extremely biased about this.

Mine would have to be Final Fantasy II and XII. I hated the skill building in II, it's just that if I wanted to keep my skills up and my stats together, I'd have to sit down and build, build, build. I feel sorry that I brought the game on my PSP. Final Fantasy XII I hated because the story to me just didn't feel good, I didn't care for it and the battle system was like Final Fantasy XI and I feel that it works for Online, it didn't really work in the game.
I would also put up Final Fantasy XIII due to how the game plays like a line, but I haven't played it much yet to comment on it.

7. I wasn't interested when it first came out, and by the time I got around to playing it I had already played 8-10. It hasn't aged well at all, and I actually found the story pretty groan-worthy.
