Wow Visual Novels are amazing.

Yeah I burned all mine on Dvds. I have so many burnt and i've read like none of them. LOL

I know what you mean. I got started on vn's around 9 months ago, and...well...I've got a little addicted...a lot really...I've been grabbing every story-intriguing vn I can. AND I CAN'T STOP. The ones that get me REALLY get me and I can't do anything for the rest of the day. The emotions just swell and all I can do is ride it out. My body shivers and my heart beats loud. PM me if you want any recommendations or thoughts on the vn's I've read/played.

I just put all my Visual Novels on my 1TB external hard drive. I go though a multiplicity of Visual Novels a week though.

I just finished Edelweiss and by far Haruka's Ending was the most captivating. I was on the edge of my sit, especially when my laptop crashed and I had to fast-forward to where I left off. Visual Novels are defiantly amazing. lol

Hey guys, I just started playing VN days ago. Damn, I wish I notice the exist of VN lots sooner. Anyway thanhs to the world only god knows (manga) I found the thing that ease my mind n soul. Though I wish Finaltorrent would download faster as I used it for the first time.

In my recent research on VNs I've come across this specific one several times; the title is Koi de wa naku - It’s not love，but so where near. by any chance does anyone know anything about this VN. So far I've only learned that its still in japanese and that's about it. It looks interesting though.

you should try muv luv alternative (and read muv luv to get to it first).

Muv luv is okay but really just sets up alterantive. IMO (and many others just check VNDB) Alternative is the best VN hands down. And between reading Muv Luv and Muv Luv Alternative it should keep you occupied for a while.

I got 5 recommendations for all you newcomers:
1. Fate/Stay Night
2. Clannad Full Voice aka Clannad FV (No visual sex)
3. Kanon SE
4. Katawa Shoujo (No Sound or at least nearly none)
5. Ever 17 - Out of Infinity (No sex)

I remember when I first played F/SN and Tsukihime. I believe it was almost a year ago that I actually typed up a colossal wall of text professing my enjoyment of the titles.

You can never go wrong with freebies. My first was probably True Remembrance and the Narcissu, but they were enough to get me hooked. They are great for beginngers since there is normally no more than "hey, it is free, it is legal, and all you have to do is download and install this to play", sometimes you can skip the install feature entirely with the right games. (or course, most freebies are CRAP, but then you get some gold like this and KS)

Lately I have been playing some older games like Ever 17, Fate/Stay Night, and Yo-Jin-Bo. And Hakuoki. (Hmn, aside from being a popular series in Japan, I wonder WHY they could have picked this one. *looks one title back* Joking aside, the only similarity they have is that they are otome games in feudal Japan.)

Of course, then you have my sister. Who I introduced with Corpse Party.
She can't stand horror games and movies. Well oops. (She adored it actually. I guess VNs can make people overcome genre dislike)

Add AIR to that and your good to go :D

AIR eh? Haven't really completed Clannad's After Story yet so will put that on the next-to-play list.
