You know you've played too much when...

Played Warhammer 40,000 Dawn Of War : Dark Crusade with it's Firestorm Over Kronus mod for 10 hours straight. When I finally stopped playing, all I could hear in my head was the sound of bolter fire, lasgun volleys, Orks yelling "WAAAAAGGGGHHHH!!!", and Imperial Guardsmen yelling after their morale was broken.

You know you've played too much Pokemon when you jump up and down in public just because you encountered a shiny Pokemon...

My friend and I cracked open Heavy Rain and pulled an all-nighter seeing how far we could go, debating on choices and whatnot, and taking turns. The next night, I was walking around my house, and I imagined seeing all those controller prompts everywhere: on the door handles, the fridge, my seat, the TV remote, along with several other things. My friend experienced the same thing. Quite bizarre, IMO.

He started playing at noon or something and we thought he's almost at the end of the game, so he decided to play the rest of the game in one go, and since it was interesting game, I watched. So then at 3AM we were 99% sure there's only an hour max left of the game. But he finished the game it was 10am already and then we slept the whole day after playing and watching the game for at least 15 hours straight (if we dont count the few short walks with our dog).
It was fun tho :D

I don't think we played it that long, since we didn't finish the game in one go, but we thought the same thing, thinking we were getting close, but there were still hours to go.

When my goddamn thumb joints ache.. fucking ps2 controllers.. i sit there playing racing games for like 14 hours, and my thumb aches... then i go and get an xbox, and i never have that problem again.
But, to add to the DA2 debate... I wasn't much of a fan of it at the start, and slowly got into it.. but it's pretty dull still... no where near as good as DA:O IMO.. origins was just so much better...

I tend to turn my head/controller when going into drifts and turns in racing games.
Gran Turismo ruined me. I started doing the head turning while driving IRL. Its quite odd.
BoxLife: Long story short, I experienced the tetris effect with a game that is nowhere close to actual tetris.
Beatmania: Two things that came to mind. One: sometimes when I listen to music my hands play out the rhythms as if I'm actually playing beatmania. This leads to me wanting to play a few rounds. Two: as soon as I boot up the game [this is after say a week of not playing] I notice that the 'clear' status is added to a few of the higher ranked songs. I don't remember doing any of that.. This gets very scary when I remind myself that I'm the only person in the house who plays the game. It gets worse when I switch over to doubles and run into the same problem.
Its like I am missing literally HOURS of conscious awareness while I'm playing the game. Its takes a very long time in order to get pretty good at this game.

After playing one of the GTA games(i forget which one) all night at a friends house, i had to resist the urge to drive my car through peoples yards and run red lights on the way home. lucky for me there were no pedestrians out a 5am.
My TV is always on and i listen to the shows while i play games. later, i'll be watching a rerun, and i suddenly remember what game i was playing when it was on the first time. sometimes i even remember exactly what i was doing in the game.
