Your favorite Badasses in gaming.

Who are some of your favorite Badass character? (And please post your reasons)

Mine is personally Asura from Asura's Wrath. This guy is consumed by so much rage that you wouldn't believe it. And he will do anything, and I mean ANYTHING to save his lovely daughter.

He took a thousand spear STRAIGHT onto his body and still kick some fucking ass.
He also battled a huge fucking giant that is larger than Earth.
Although he lost his arm when he fought the giant, he still continues his journey to save his daughter without arms.

For me, I'll have to say Solid Snake. Pretty sure you already know who he is.

<--- THIS DICKHEAD RIGHT HERE. Arghhhh god no one could even touch the guy. But then every now and then he'd die and you'd lose all hope for your shitty ass team. Fucking Florina you can't even hurt bandits oh yeah you died who would've guessed BYE JACKASS next time clip the wings and call yourself a paladin.

While my favorite badass has no chance in fucking hell of beating asura I'll go with link. He makes learning to use all the weapons and saving hyrule and the world from total destruction look easy. "takes years to master the art of the sword? Bitch please, I'll master it in an hour".

In my opinion, nothing can close to Vergil from Devil May Cry 3, epsecially in the Special Edition when he is playable and you'll be able to play him like this if you're good enough in terms of badassness and skill. Spiral Sword/Aerial Rave Jump Cancel for the win.



It's a shame what Capcom is going to do to his image in the upcoming new DMC game. (Sighs).

I'm definitely going to say Adell from Disgaea 2.
He keeps his promises, protects his family, and pretty much the best character throughout the entire Disgaea series so far. (Especially his Vulcan Blaze attack)

the kid highlighted, why? cause he pilots a giant robot for a boss fight in this game....by himself.....making it move not with controls but with his psychic energy to move the hold damn thing

Cole from Infamous because he became a vampire in a day, became the most evil thing to humankind, and saved the world.

The one character I would call the perfect badass. Nothing gets through Geralt. You have to play the game at least to get a solid idea of who he is.

I had a feeling someone was gonna bring up RBZ's sig. Also, I can't disagree with any of his choices since all three have shown how badass they are from their own series.

I'll go with War from the first Darksiders.

He's one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, which is awesome in and of itself, and while he's not flashy like Dante or Bayonetta, he's still a walking juggernaut who challenges the forces of Light and Darkness, and hands them their asses. Also, contrary to many contemporary badasses, he doesn't go around boasting or taunting, he's a stoic and he knows what honor is, which is a big plus to me.
