Your Favourite Console/Handheld of all Time

Strangely enough, I couldn't find a topic like this. So, I started one.

Which is your favourite console or handheld of all time?

Mine would definitely be the Playstation 2. Never has a console seen such an incredible library of games with something for everyone. This console gave birth to incredible new series like God of War and Devil May Cry. Grand Theft Auto was made even better with it's jump to 3D with it's third installment. An incredible controller that fits so comfortably in the hands. Not to mention that it's the greatest selling console of all time and games are STILL being made for it.

Does a computer count as a console, because its the only one i know that can play h-games

As much as I wish it wasn't, it is. It's probably the best system so far.

Sure, I'll let the PC count as a console too.

I'd go for this one as well. If my TV didn't die on me early I'd probably be playing PS2 games again.

Dreamcast

I think it was way ahead of its time, and it's a shame it didn't make it. Plus it housed an insane amount of shooters, a decent selection of RPGs, and just had a whole lot going for it.

Hm, I can't really decide, it's between three of them. It all depends on how my tastes have changed as I have gotten older.

I loved my Nintendo 64 because when I was younger I was all about action-platformers like Super Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie.

Then as my taste in JRPGs grew, I loved my Playstation 2. I had a huge plethora of JRPG games for my PS2. That thing was used from day until night for a long time. XD

And now as I'm getting into general RPGs and FPS/TPS more I love the 360 the most.

I don't think I could pick just one. *shrugs*

I would say the PS2, completed many a RPG on it. Chrono Cross, FFVII, FFX, FFXII, all of the .Hack series, etc. Even some PS1 titles, Lunar Eternal Blue, Chrono Trigger.

The Super Nintendo, soo many classics..
The Ps2 probably comes in second or something.

SNES. So many classics in hat console is unbelievable. Kids (including me) really took that system for granted back in the 90s.

Oh whew, I thought that said DSi at first. I was like please dude, no.

It's really hard to decide on one specific console that I loved more then the others...I've had so much fun with the psone, ps2 and N64, but my favorite of all would probably be the psone. Some of the best rpg's were made on that console.
