My first official game system was a Gameboy, followed by a N64, followed by a PS2.
But that just counts for ownership.
The first game system I played was a sega genesis. I've never played on an Atari

I remember getting an NES from my Uncle on my birthday. He didn't know that games came seperately. I think it came with duck hunt and mario bros though...
Also, not sure if i should move this to VG or leave it be..

Mine was the Super Nintendo. My mom got it for me. Was awesome until she gave it away to my cousins. DAMN THEM!

The first one I owned was a Super Nintendo, but I grew up playing the Commodore 64 and the Atari 2600. Damn, those were the days. Atari was the greatest video game console of all time.

Yeah the NES came with the game Mario Bros and the game Duck Hunt, they were awesome.
@blarutoballz: My NES was taken away and given to my cousins... kind of a coincidence? Maybe?

Sega Saturn was my first system, I had Virtua Fighter 2 and Virtua Cop. It was probably a gift from my parents.
Grew up mostly playing SNES though, and later Nintendo 64.

First was a SNES (Nintendo 16?) and some form or another of Super Mario.
But I consider my first real system to be a PS1, and what else, Gran Turismo 2!
