Mine was Sega genesis, loved playing Doraemon and Pac-Man adventure there.
My timeline would be:
Sega -> PS1 -> PS2 -> PC (lol)

My very first game system was FamiCom (NES), then GameBoy, SNES, PS, XBOX, PS2, PSP then DS.
I never had the chance to own a Sega game console.

Er, I'm pretty sure my first game system was a super Nintendo or Gameboy. I forgot which one I got first.

First system I ever owned was either a Gameboy or a N64, however, my father has had every atari, sega, and nintendo console ever released, so I was playing those ever since I was born. Otherwise, it goes;
Gameboy > GBC > N64 > PS1 > GBA > GC > PS2 > 360 > xbawks360 > PSP > Soon to be ps3.
Gameboy > GBC > N64 > PS1 > GBA > GC > PS2 > 360 > xbawks360 > PSP > Soon to be ps3.

Mine would be the Super Nintendo, unfortunately I lost all of the wires and both of my controllers and I'm trying to find some more now because I found all my games.

Ah...this question really takes me back. My first console was a SNES that my mom got me at a KB toys store. Bundled with it were my first two games: Super Mario World and Mario Kart. Good times, man. Good times.

Famicom, then Nes, SNES, SEGA. Then came PS, next is that PC after starcraft was released and PS2 slim, then PSP 1000 and 2000. Finally got a PS3. Planning to get Wii or Xbox360 next.

The order of my consoles are:
Sega Master System, Sega Genesis (followed by the 32-bit add-on), N64, GameBoy Color, Playstation, PS2, Gameboy Advance, GameCube, Xbox, Xbox 360.
I really want a Nintendo DSi, and a Wii now that the price has dropped; PS3 can wait a bit longer.
And if anyone had the Master System, do you remember Wonder Boy, Cloud Master, and that secret game on the system itself that had to do with a snail going through a maze?
