Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's Stardust Accelerator: World Championship 2009

Anyone getting it? Lol.
Yu-Gi-Oh! So old... Yet... so interesting. Too many cards around to know what's what anymore. Strategy's can be so varied with all the cards running around. Then the list of forbidden cards keeps changing. Kind of annoying. Lol. My real life deck is so obsolete with more than half the cards that used to be limited being forbidden now.
Anyway, anyone have this game? xD

It used to be that you can only have one of these cards in your deck: Pot of greed, Change of heart, Raigeiki, um I forget the rest, but that was the original list. Do you even care about what they think though since I would just use the forbidden cards anyway, but wouldn't put more than one of that card in my deck.

I don't know I already stop collecting after GX showed up.
My real deck is still playable though, ask Shin and ImperialX for details. :)

Great game, though annoying to somewhat duel grind for DP for decks/parts for the duel runner.
Think I am like 1/3 way through the game, trying to not use any restricted cards (no 2 max, 1 max, or forbidden at all). But at this point I just might throw a few just for ease it through since it is annoying to see decks all having monster reborn, 3xbottomless trap holes, swords of revealing light, etc.
Anyone know when dueling a person and they give you a card, is there some "limit" to what cards they can give you? Currently trying to duel Marie (south of the first card shop) and get that plant tuner monster that can be special summon when opponent's set/summon but after 25+ duels I have yet to get it (though I did get her 2 synchro monster, a different plant tuner, and monster special summon through traps).

with enough skills, you don't even need to upgrade your duel-runner to race those ridiculous racers.. And with enough Dueling skills and deck construction skills, I don't even need to bother collecting DPs outside the storyline to upgrade my deck completely .. This game's simple.. The real chalenge of it is it's World Championship 2009 game mode..

True, I completely agree. However, I haven't played yugioh in like forever so it is much harder for me to get use to it. Mainly I am just trying to find what works best together and to keep my deck count around 48 cards or lower. Plus I was hoping to access the tuners/synchro monsters sooner (at least new ones and reason why I got it).
For the most part I was hoping for more original cards from 5ds and original decks, kinda boring seeing the same cards in almost every deck.
Really I am kinda enjoying the duel runner more than dueling, though I am just messing with the pipeline simulation though have a nearly fully upgraded gamma II model (of what is available now).
If anything I can't wait till I get most of the cards to come up with some deck ideas.

I've stopped playing when Labyrinth of Nightmare came out. Those boosters just came out too fast for me to catch up. Started playing again when the Dragon's Rage structure deck came out and even then, I found so many old school favorites banned like Monster Reborn. Jeez cards were being banned, limited left and right, got ridiculous. I think my deck should be playable though, dunno if it's good enough but playable.

Yeah, it got a bit ridiculous with so many new cards and changing rules (a bit like Pokemon...). I still love my Slifer the Sky Dragon, though; bought it before the market got flooded with fakes. :P

All of them were Forbiddened, Limited, and semi-limited for a good reason.
It all started when some Duelist found out and overkill combo, that is deemed to powerful. and the catalyst card will be banned.
for example:
Time Seal
I heard some duelist found a way to make that card into a loop of pain...
so, now it's a forbidden one.

actually.. it's way better if you compare it to Pokemon or MtG.. At least, the YGO Cards will not expire.. unlike those of Pokemons and MtGs.. expiring their cards periodically, turning them into trashes..

Tele-DAD =P
Well, in a sense yes, but in a sense no as well =/ some cards just become so redundant thanks to the newer "more powerful" cards or thanks to the forbidden list.
like spirit of the pot of greed? theres no point in that card if the pot of greed itself is banned o.o;;

Yeah, and stuff like Anti-Raigeki and White Hole.
But Yu-Gi-Oh! is still quite the playable game.

I play Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG for about two years (being a regional champion, second in state, owning a site, eshop with cards...you know what i mean .)) and i have to say that this game is the absolute top in Yu-Gi-Oh! based games. I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in it.

I feel like I should bump this. There are people who play this game, so why aren't we sharing FC's?

Good point, well it will help me see how good some of my decks are excluding the typical lightsworn and other cookie cutter decks.
Well if anyone wants to duel my friend code is 1032 9840 3336, just pm me to see if I am available for a match. Usually free but school and now resident evil darkside chronicles gonna keep me busy.

Fuck you newbies with your dumb sycro whatever cards. You should see their faces when I pwn them with my metalraider/legendoftheblueeyeswhitedragon deck in the tournies. Also, SA wasn't very interesting and I'm glad I didn't actually buy it. While the racing parts were fun, you would only end up using all your gp on parts and not the half assed cards. Like the other games it also starts out pretty hard, but gets insanely easy and boring later on once you've built the perfect deck (removal deck of awesomeness) nya~.
