Hentai becoming mainstream would first and foremost require a massive societal change. Remember, there are still quite large pockets of people in society who find regular porn immoral and objectionable. The common conventions of hentai, even without going into the deviant stuff, would make heads spin.
The fact that they're cartoons is already very off-putting for a lot of people. Add in the stigma hentai already has (Tentacle schoolgirl rape and whatnot), and the actual content of some hentai, and you've got something that can never pervade Western culture barring a ludicrous cultural reform.
The first thing we'd need is to live in a society where it's not only acceptable, but common practice to call people out on complaining about stuff they don't need to expose themselves to. Good luck with that.

I gotta agree on The Game.
It was funny when people came up with clever ways to make people lose, but now every shithead just goes "You just lost the Game lololololol" thinking they're being oh so funny and clever, and then gets confused when people don't react accordingly.

Episode 5 of Elfen Lied was the first anime episode that I genuinely found hard to watch. A few would follow, Elfen Lied Episode 5 was the first.
From a purely physical standpoint, what does it for me is curves. Breasts, hips/butt, and legs are the focal points, and it's less about them all three being as massive as possible, and more about them all three working together to make an attractive figure. Other than that, a nice face is also an attractive attribute.
As far as attire goes, I'm a big proponent of the "Better to conceal than reveal" school of thought. Skimpy clothing for the sake of skimpy clothing isn't always the way to go. For me, it's more about playing to preferences than showing a lot of skin.
Personality-wise, not being a bitch, and not being dumb are both big pluses.

Last con I was at, a friend of mine (Amazing thighs, amazing ass) was also going, but not staying in the same room as me. Partway through, she complains about parts of her costume slipping, and asks me if I'd be alright with heading with her to her hotel room to help her fix it.
What ensues is me holding pieces of her costume in place around her thighs as she secured them, with my face literally inches away from her ass.
FANTASTIC DAY
The only downside is the fact that this story doesn't end in sex.

I am also disgusted with rape doujinshi. It doesn't matter to me that the characters depicted being raped are not real. It's as disturbing to me as the people who role-play rape in their bedrooms. Why would you want to be forced against your will to have sex with someone? Why would you force yourself on someone who doesn't want to have sex with you? I'm sure there are million and a half excuses that people could shill out, but I seriously think a fascination with doujinshi depicting rape is a sign of mental illness.I sense a storm of shit in the near future.
Rape fantasies are actually quite common among both men and women. When it comes to rape roleplay specifically, it's about a couple exploring a fantasy in a manageable, consensual way.
As for hentai, the thing you have to understand is that, in Japanese culture, women are supposed to be sexually submissive. It's also the reason you see a lot of women in hentai timidly say things like "It's embarassing," or "Please don't look at me like that," even in completely consensual situations. It's not a mental illness thing, it's a cultural thing.
CN's been really shitty for a while now. They've gotten a bit better, since they started running shows like "Dexter's Lab," "Courage the Cowardly Dog," "Ed, Edd, n Eddy," and "Codename: Kids Next Door" again, but it can't make up for the rest of the shit they show on there now. Stuff like "6Teen" and "Total Drama Island" I could've accept maybe in Nickelodeon's TeenNick block before they made that its own channel, but not as normal shows on CN. I can even see the appeal of some of the live-action shows, but they don't belong on cartoon network.
By the time they decided to get rid of Toonami, it had gone so far down the toilet that I didn't give a damn anymore. They had had their block cut down from daily to just Saturday, had completely abandoned their aesthetic, and didn't even show good anime anymore.
[AS] used to be good, too, but, for the most part, just their syndicated shows. The majority of their original content is fucking insipid, and they insist upon showing it over the stuff that actually has some quality. Meanwhile, all their anime is only on one day out of the week, and God forbid they bring in something new or interesting. We've all seen Cowboy Bebop and GITS a trillion times now.

Reminds me of an old PS2 game called "Seek and Destroy"
Sounds like an interesting game. Might give it a try.

ISP 1: "We're charging you to visit extremely popular site X"ISP 2: "We're not."
Everyone switches to ISP 2.
And this is exactly why the bill was/is complete balls and is never going to mean a damn thing. Moreover ISPs in Britain are actually lividly pissed about crunching down on the availability of pornography, what makes you guys think they would actually charge people to visit a porn site when their competition could just as easily not charge people to visit the exact same site?
The opportunity to make more money for zero extra service given, that's what. Also, it's not porn that this will immediately be effected by. It's youtube, netflix, online gaming, and other high-bandwidth activites.
No ISP is just gonna decide to not charge people extra for this. ISP 1 might charge an extra $50 a month, while ISP2 charges an extra $48. Both are still making a ton more money, and that's money out of the consumer's pocket for no extra service given.
This simply reeks of "Government-sponsored corporate money-grab." I'm not one to complain about the government often, but this is just ridiculous.
My neighbor and I get the same internet service from our ISP. Why should my family have to pay more because I watch online videos or play WoW or Xbox Live games (WoW and XBL both also being services I already pay for)?
I'm sorry, but in no other industry is it acceptable to charge more for the same service.

Shaved is good, but well-maintained pubic hair is much more attractive to me.
None of that "landing strip" bullshit, though.
That shit ain't cute.

I'm eager to see how this one turns out. I've been waiting a long time for a Call of Duty-style FPS set in space. No aliens, just people fighting other people in non-Earth environments with futuristic weapons.
