Maaan I've got mixed feelings. I mean, I guess if you think of vanilla in the sense of romance I get it? Everyone has their own definition of love and if this works for them more power to 'em?
I love when authors break the 4 page rule and let the story progress a bit more. The pay off is worthwhile when you can feel the relationship build up.
