There isn't anything differentiating CTFG and most of the people from IB at this point. There was a massive reason people frowned upon CTFG in the past.

Live-action porn grew boring kind of fast for me, and large part of it was because it's just too...well, normal, sort to speak.

Hentai is an animated medium, and therefore, you can do any cool/depraved/sick/awesome shit you can think of provided you have the enough budget and appropiate team (VAs, animators, artists, etc.) to produce a hentai animation. You're not constrained by an actor's/actress' physical limitations, you can set it anywhere (fantasy, sci fi, sci fantasy), and you can hit an ever wider range of fetishes while you're at it.

For instance, there's no way live-action porn could've churned out something as glorious as Dark Knight Ingrid. Unless they used extremely cheap, PS2-tier CGI for the orcs/demons and cheap props for Kiryuu's tentacles, and gave crappy-looking implants to the actresses.

So, in short, live-action porn is boring, hentai can be much more "imaginative", so to speak.

But I'm considering retiring from anime fandom by age 30 as I do not want to become a wizard. I feel as though my love of ecchi anime is slowly dwindling as I have recently reached the age of 24. I think I will pursue my other hobbies when I do enter the age of the wizard. All opinions are welcomed.

Well no one's going to stop you from acting/being retarded(unless you break a rule or something), but they will call you out on it. There's no reason not to.
