I've found combat dead easy even on the hardest possible setting and I'm a stealth build without dermal plating, the fact there is so much cover makes it much easier to fight groups of enemies.Same. I go to this game with the thought that if Solid Snake didn't need stealth augs (ignoring the fourth game), neither do I. I don't leave an area until I've milked it for all the XP possible (i.e., I hack everything even if I have the code and I knock everybody out). Later in the game I got the stealth shit because there's nothing else that was worth getting (it's also fun to use). I find that the hacking augs are the most valuable.

Look, I still fully upgraded dermal plating but it helps out to such a minor extent that it was essentially negligible. Now, the other two deus ex games allowed you to at least hold you ground when fighting MOST enemies, the only exceptions being when you were obviously outgunned by augmented soldiers and certain robots (Deus Ex) or elite faction soldiers and the large robots (IW). My problem is that even for the most basic units, you will take a few hits (about 4-5) and die. Regardless of the cover system, you should not be able to die that quickly in a game that essentially allows you to play through how you want. Fair enough, we all have our value judgments. My point was that you're incorrect in stating that the game tries to make you avoid confrontation. When shit hits the fan, one just has to be aware of their surroundings, use the cover system, and attack when not being shot at. I agree that there is a run and gun limitation, but this is just what combat in this Deus Ex entails.
Also, are you playing on "Give Me Deus Ex" mode? I chose that because this is what I bought the fucking game for. The very first two enemies killed me twice before I got used to properly using the cover mechanic. Maybe you're getting killed so quickly because you happen to be playing on hard mode.

Though combat is offered for every situation, the game makes you focus on completing your objective in the quietest or least confrontational manner. Hell, even IW allowed you to complete your objective in the way you preferred with very little issue.Nothing is stopping you from going into the room and busting a cap in everyone. Yea, you die quickly, but that's what the cover system is for (and dermal plating). Use and abuse it. This game actually adds complexity to a firefight, where enemies take cover, and if you're unlucky, flank you. Not like in the other two games where enemies never take cover and you have to crouch behind a box or run around like a tard just to avoid being shot. I've seen interviews with the developers and they pretty much say you have to be tactical and use anything you can to your advantage. I'm also pretty sure that if you tried to run and gun through Invisible War, you'd be very dead.
Skyrim will have same-sex fucking. If your first thought was about hot lesbian sex, you're doing it right. When I'll be playing, there will be plenty of elven pussy action.
IT'S SO GOOD. It's just so beautiful that Invisible War seems like a bad nightmare. This game is fucking worthy of the DX title. This is Deus Ex 2 as far as I'm concerned. I'll be more detailed in what I think of it after I beat this bitch. It fucking took me between 2 to 3 hours to go through the first mission, what with all the exploring, hacking, reading, stealth and knock the fuck out-ing I've been doing.
You also have a pillow of me, bro? That big ass dildo with my name on it was weird, but god damn, son. You're washing your fucking hands the next time I come over.
OT: The newsfags are getting interviews with random bitches. "Holy shitting dick nipples, everything was shaking. Nothing fell, though." Riveting shit.

After seeing this shit I became very intrigued. I saw the video yesterday, so now I'm really glad that there are only 3 weeks left until I see this.
Excluding Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nightmare, this will be the first true zombie game I have played. Resident Evil 4 & 5 are not zombie games.
