I like the current list layout because it's subscription-based nature of Fakku with almost daily releases. The layout feels like a feed with the most recent releases on top. If Fakku changed the way it does releases, I could see my preference to a grid layout. I tend to like grid layouts for browsing through catalogues or libraries of content. But for now, I like the list.

Bumping this thread because she still deserves more love. Somehow I forgot to mention in my first post that she's cue af.
Still playing mainly OW and CS:GO. She finally climbed from bronze border to gold border last season in OW playing mercy & moira. She's more consistently streaming now on Tues, Thurs, and Sat around noon CST.
There's a lot of whalers that give away subs if you just say hi.

I hide mine inside a box in my closet because I have a big family and there are still a lot of minors. If I was living around only adults I'd get a tall shelf and throw them on the top level.

My woman crush (booyouhorde) streams Twitch on Tues & Thurs; sub games are on Saturdays. She used to only play WoW but we pooled $ and got her a PC if she would stream on Twitch. Now she also plays CS:GO and Overwatch.

Clicking on the preview in the Sample Thumbnails normally takes you to the corresponding page.
In a book with multiple chapters, the links take you to pg 1/2/3/etc. in the book and not the chapter; and this is despite the fact that the thumbnails display the correct previews of the pages belonging to the chapter. This leads to a confusing experience. I really don't need to see page/5 of the book when I'm trying to see pg 5 of chapter 13 for example.
If the thumbnails don't take me to the correct page in the correct chapter, I would appreciate it if it at least takes me to the 1st page of the correct chapter (i.e equivalent to clicking the Read Online button).

When viewing spreads, I like how scrolling with the mouse wheel takes me to all four corners of the spread. Makes viewing them much more pleasant. It was a bit counter-intuitive because I had gotten used to jumping to the next page when scrolling too far; after I retrained myself to scroll away on spreads, it was a blast.
I actually am not watching any shows this season. Big disappointment. The anime's probably not bad, I'm just not into most of these genres.

Also picked up Alderamin on the Sky. There's a lot of repeat shows that are enjoyable this season, but that's pretty much it for me except for the obligatory ecchi Masou Gakuen HxH.
I dropped Berserk because the animation wasn't cutting it for me (I wasn't a fan of it already).

Left or right arrow support. I ran into this feature by accident, and it really tripped me up and had me dangerously confused for a few seconds before I figured out what was going on. I also don't know when this feature was implemented, but it felt "new." I don't read everything Daiz writes, I just pop in to give a review on new features. Sometimes the new features is a result of somebody changing the default settings that I never bothered to experiment with. Anyway here's my review:
Previously, pressing left arrow would stop on the first page. Now, if you are on the first page, pressing left arrow or right arrow will take you to the 2nd page on so on... I've been habitually going to the next page with the right arrow because that's typically how it works with most online readers. But using the left arrow to go to the next page totally makes sense to me! And if you've ever picked up a real book, it will feel extremely familiar because that's how you would flip the page. Keep in mind, you're already reading right to left like it was meant to be read.
I think it's great that the reader supports both formats. I don't have a particular preference for what the default option should be (left only, right only, or left & right both enabled). Maybe the best default can be gathered from user data.

I totally support bringin back popular old goodies. A Fakku subscription gets your more than just the latest pages.
This is great. As a library, it's important for Fakku to feature debut works like this. Hentai also has history.
New settings were rolled out recently I guess? Took awhile to get used to but I like them overall.
I like the mouse panning and how the arrow keys move the page around the screen. Took awhile to figure out how to go through pages, and then just randomly decided to hit page up and page down. After that, reading was super easy. Pretty intuitive once you figure out how it works. Good stuff. Dual page viewer is less frustrating now.
