The story was posted and described as a tale about an androgenous male having casual sex with his lesbian childhood friend. Well, after reading it I had a feeling that might not actually be true. I actually think this is a story about a trans-boy (female sex at birth)and his lesbian friend. Below is my breakdown of my take on this story:
What 'sealed the deal' for me:
Pg 16 lower right panel, kinda looks like a strap-on to me. I don't think it quite looks like "full dick censoring." The shading around the dick looks like a panty shape that a lot of strap-ons use.
My take on the characters:
Riku has the hots for Nagisa because he is biologically female and that's what Riku is into (lesbian). She respects that Nagisa is transgender and identifies as a boy, therefore playing it off as a 'friends with benefits' thing. Riku having a 'sudden interest' in Girl's Love/Yuri and showing this to Nagisa, might be Riku's way of showing Nagisa "Hey look girls can have sex with other girls! Lesbians exist! If you are scared about being sexually attracted to girls, don't think you have to be a boy to make those desires feel 'right!'" It would make sense that Riku would do this to attempt to be able to have sex with him as a 'girl.'
Nagisa keeps referring over and over again that he is a boy. At this high school age, that would make sense for a trans-boy to do that, due to being insecure about his appearance and still having a lot of female features (most likely pre-hormone therapy). The inner-monologue Nagisa has about Rikus pussy feeling so good seems a bit forced, it may allude to him convincing himself that he can in fact feel what Riku is doing to the strap-on. There is no panel showing a cum shot or cream pie. This happens in like 99% of hetero hentai, why not show the money-shot unless there is none due to the 'dick' actually being a strap-on?
I will end this with: 'Nagisa' is not a male birth name... it is only given to females in Japan. It does not make sense that a biological male would be given this name. This supports the idea that Nagisa is female sexed, given this name by his parents.I missed during my search for the name 'Nagisa' that it can be given to boys. Most sites list is as a female only name, so this point is redacted.
Now re-read the hentai. Does this idea of the story's canon seem plausible now? Does pg 16's close up look like a strap-on to you? Does Nagisa's dialogue seem a bit odd? I'm interested in hearing what people think.
