I embraced it and never felt the need to hide it. I actually made friends because of that, even at the office. I don't yell about it tho, gotta be emotionally intelligent about it, taking the place and the people into account.
'sup! 27 old dude here.

I come from French Polynesia. Got a pretty busy life as i studied Law, Marketing, was a Specialized Teacher for children with handicaps, in the army for 1 year as a gendarme and I am now living in Canada Montréal. I took an accelerated training (1 year) to become a game developer. I succeded and i now am a Realtime VFX Artist working at Ubisoft Montréal since 1 year, working on a secret project.

I've been following FAKKU since 2009 but only officially created an account around 2012/13 (i think). Gotta say i really like where FAKKU is right now, ie a Legal platform. Because scans are great quality and uncensored. Plus there are books you can buy and other stuffs. Though, the anime section could use some updates 'cause everything here is pretty old.

Anyway, nice to meet you guys and i only realized up until now that i never introduced myself before.
I mostly like #lingerie
Well, what can i say.

To start with, i fully support what Jacob is doing with FAKKU (and don't even think i'm licking his ass because i'm not).

The fact is that what FAKKU used to do was illegal in the first place. The Hentaï we read didn't even belonged to us so complaining about it being erased for a LEGAL model (with same content as Japan AND at the SAME time AND UNCENSORED) is kinda misplaced.

People have no rights to complain about things that don't even belonged to them in the first place. That's the same thing for Video Games.

Though the things we can complain about are the lack of payment methods and options with subscription. But it's still new so i think these problem will be solved over time.
Well, first time i'm actually writing something on a forum (excuse my poor english at some point, i'm French from French Polynesia).

I'm just gonna say that i fully support what FAKKU is becoming : Legal. People will never agreeing each other no matter what anyway so, Jacob, just do what you think is going to be great or FAKKU and for the Hentaï community as a (w)hole.

Just think about what becoming legal means. It means legitimiy. Legitimity gives you access to Licences. Licences gives you access to content that aren't even available outside Japan and at the SAME TIME and UNCENSORED.

I was quite happy when i knew that FAKKU was going to be legal. That meant that FAKKU was going to be legit. It's like the real thing now.

Of course not everyone can afford everything, almost everyone have bills to pay or other priorities where their money should go first but i don't see where is the big deal. You can find everything on the internet anyway and it's not like the scanlators would stop what they are doing.

If there are people that want to leave then just leave, it's their right. But i don't see why some people that are doing this are making such a fuss just because they feel entitled and talk trash just because they can't have access to what they felt they should have for free, specially when it wasn't even legal in the firsgt place. It's called hypocrisy. That's all.

FAKKU going legal also means that WE can have an impact at a certain degree on the Hentaï industry. Which is great don't you think ?

*EDIT : Well it looks like i have actually already poste something before. So it wasn't my first time...
Well, that's not really the death itself which is scary but what it means : leaving the people you love behind for example. Which may be scary is also the way you die.

Because i know i will make my family and my friends sad i'm afraid of diying. If they wasn't there, i wouldn't be afraid... I think. I have a reason to live so yeah i'm scared.
